    Granted, mobile XI is going to feel very different and there runs the possibility they might retune level caps altogether. If they start the game at 50 cap and release lv cap to 75 by CoP, theres no reason why they'd have to keep it there if they decide to move on to ToAU / WotG / SoA and can tier everything according to a higher or lower level cap since everything's already been made/balanced before. I'd personally prefer this over the ilvl bullshit. Or if they gave us back horizontal progression.

    power creep killed XI post SoA. I'd prefer they didn't do it to the mobile port too

    I think with Reisenjima being basically the last new area the game will ever have (alongside the aforementioned "it has NMs in it" thing) means it should at least be a fully developed area instead of just being two rooms or whatever the hell Leafalia was.

    I appreciate they at least bothered to do that.

    Scholar is arguably even more overpowered. I recall seeing on person getting a 9k+ magic burst on an NM in escha-ruann. That initially may not seem like a lot, but an uresisted Helix DOT base duration is 168 secs. We get +10 secs from JSE cape, and +45 secs from 15/15 Dark Arts JP, for 223 secs total. Helix DOT is base damage, then 3 secs/1 tic later, the base damage Repeats, and will then repeat every 8-9 secs. 220 secs / 9 sec =. ~24 helix DOT tics, for a total 26 times helix will damage the NM, assuming it's alive. 9,000dmg * 26 = 234,000 total damage, assume it gets I resisted duration, and nothing the mob does that wipes debuffs.

    No. Helix work on tocks. A tock is 10 seconds. The reason the first one doesn't always take the full 10sec is because the spell landed between two tocks. It is however always 10 seconds between tocks.

    Well looks like they are giving us back the F8 that everyone wants but slapping alot of you guys in the face by putting the new function on F-10.

    I'm pretty sure using F10 for GS will block the /targetnpc input, or such a thing could be done.

    Windower binds can and do supercede official ones. You may occasionally get the original to run through in laggy areas or repeat pushes, but I don't see much a reason to be bashing F10.

    I'd like to think the 2x Escha zones gave their art team enough time to craft up an area worthy of being the last area of the game. Here's hoping at least.

Adoulin's lore/culture also doesn't feel as well planned-out as ToAU's did.
    Call me old fashioned, but when a war against the Far East is a major subplot in the expansion that had (arguably) the largest impact on in game mechanics, story telling, and graphics (that Aht Urghan sky tho) I expect a follow up. We knew that the continents were connected, so they very well could have uses recycled textures (as they did in Wings), and since we were already allies with the Far East's enemy, they very well could have translated a campaign/colonization/conquest system of gaining territories.

    I'm bitter, I know, but it just seems like there was so little story/battle/content/whatever direction that actually made sense when it came to the development of Adoulin.

    Which kinda makes you think when Nashmeria and Tenzen meet in RoV but I guess by that time(after TOAU story) she started to ease down the war?

    There's a lot of "wish we'd seens" in Vana'diel.

    I wanted to explore the ruins of Tavnazia and battle the beastmen lurking within. See the Mithran homeland. Explore the Far East.

    Heck, I still want a FFXI-2 at this point.

    Was the 'far east' really ever intended to be more than backstory/fluff? I can't imagine a japan theme is interesting grounds for an expansion in a fantasy game to japanese players/developers.
