Seems that it wasn't just me who had their SE token reset when upgrading to the 9.2 beta. Wonder if Beta 3 completely breaks it?

It'd be better if they buffed REM now and gave aeonics something unique that separates them from other aeonics. Hell I'd take some +stats like Empys and relics since merit WS are heavily attribute based. For "final" weapons, it sucks that all they really have is the level 4 skillchain. SE were lazy or didn't have the time to make new WSes for these weapons so at least throw some stats.
+500 TP bonus is huge for a number of weapons, and 10 STP isn't bad either. The level 4 SC property isn't all that they have.
So I havent caught it anywhere but are there any steps to makin the aeonic weapons in game already? Ive heard people say something bout storing merits, but not what is required that we know of so far for them.
50k beads -> kill all Zi'Tah NMs -> kill all Ru'Aun NMs are the only steps known so far.
So are these maybe the more casual relics that they promised when they first announced mythics but then went the complete opposite way in requiring mastering all of aht urghan?
I can't really bring myself to say all the reqs we know of so far would qualify as casual. For those who've been playing steadily and (still) have a good group, yeah, this leg probably doesn't seem too daunting. Otherwise, I suspect lots of bottlenecking on T2/3 NMs.
The real bottleneck atm seems more to be Warder of Courage tbf. Granted that too will get easier with time, atm I'd say that's the real bottleneck.
They were never presented as "final" weapons though.
They were presented as "weapons on par with RME". We don't know if even this will be true, most of them seem to be lackluster atm, but it's quite different from saying "final weapons", no?
Not to mention that the new Geas Fate mobs in Reisenjima introduced next month might contain Kirin v3/AV v2 difficulty monsters.
100 drops from Arch Escha Warden of Virtue. Have to lock SP2's now, and lamps/wynavs are Fenrir/Phoenix/Diablos/Carbuncle/Bahamut and Astral Flow hits you with Ruinous Searing Lunar Rebirth Flare.
Text command to show the current finishing moves level?
. . . .
Why not just have more icons?
It would take longer to enter the command than it would to just step again and cap.
If the text command sends a request to the server which returns a value to the client (your current FM level) then it'll be pretty much useless. If it displays information that the client already has (would need to add FM level to a packet) then Windower can at least make use of it.
Can you also remove the penalty for steps when you are at maximum daze?
The request for penalty on steps when the target is at the maximum daze level would be difficult to implement, and thus we cannot address it at this time.
This is translated weird. Are they saying that they want a stronger debuff on the mob when raising the Daze effect to Lv5? Or is there some hidden penalty you are hit with when trying to use a Step on a target already afflicted with a Lv 5 Daze? Or are they inferring that the 10TP cost for using Steps is a 'penalty' and that if the mob is already at Lv5 Daze, steps should be free?
Maybe they are talking about the finishing moves granted?
Yeah, they are talking about the finishing moves granted to the player. Dancer main normally gets 2 FMs per Step (or 3 with Terpsichore or Presto, 4 with Terpsichore and Presto), but if the Daze's potency is capped (Level 10 for DNC main) then they will only get 1 FM per additional Step (even with Terpsichore and/or Presto).
It really just can't be that difficult to change, but oh well. With +20 seconds duration per Step from JPs, you only have to Step once every 50 seconds to maintain a level 10 Daze.
yeah 6-8 ppl for escha, but i'd argue these days that's at least the equivalent of gathering 18 for troll king or tinnin back then
i think relatively, relics were probably easiest because of af2, so easy to manipulate others into doing the work
as for the currency aspect, that is what did in any hope for casuals with mythics, and it could sux just as bad for aeonics when the final quest is released
