What happened when you used dusk gloves and flee? did you move slower than flee speed?

I'm not the only one who agrees. If you weren't able to escape from them you were doing something wrong or your memory is faulty. What you remember is probably flee wearing off, then you're running normally while trying to get to the zone, and eventually they catch up to you and kill you because they haven't lost track of you (tigers and raptors track by scent)
I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with him. I genuinely have no idea.
Him believing reading packets is witchcraft of some sort doesn't lend much credence to his position, though
Being able to escape is not indicative of movement speed unless you are on a completely flat surface running in a straight line. I was just able to out run a tiger thru most of jugner but the few flat straight parts it kept up just fine.
I then used my time machine and the results will shock those of you against 3rd party temporal cheating devices or really bad graphics of yesteryear
Spoiler: show
1) It's a well known fact that vivi is an idiot.
2) Before NA release monsters would aggro while you were on a chocobo. Tigers in jugner would catch you on chocobo and kill you.
3) vivi is again an idiot.
Man, you really know FFXI is dieing when we have like 2 pages of tiger move speed rabblerabble.
This is a pretty serious issue, I think we should discuss it further.
Direction crafting ?!? Go?!!!
Eh, seems more like the usual internet, "I HAVE TO BE RIGHT!" going on.
just waiting for godwin's to take effect
nazi tigers and their hax
Yeah, everyone wants to be in the cool kid's club so hard they can't let it go that they're wrong so they need to stroke the leet popular opinion to fit in, because they don't want to admit that they're wrong even though they know they are. I'm sure if one of them said tigers fly, they would all nod in agreement to fit in
Oh well, doesn't change the reality that tigers don't move at flee speed
Once again no one has bothered to explain how some enemies clearly move much faster than a tiger's "flee speed"
Wonder what your "packets" have to say about that
Someone should post on the official forums and ask the devs to settle the debate once and for all. They've answered far dumber questions before
"packets"
Again I don't know if you're right or wrong, but you realize this is how the game communicates? He's not talking about reading chicken bones, here
When I say cant escape using flee from a tiger i mean they are takin swipes at you the whole time (this means they are keeping up with you). not that i got ahead and then they caught up. ur brain must be faulty cause i only see one person with your point of view and its you. Other than the fact most monsters arent fazed by geometry of the game like we are (they jump up cliffs no problem).
You are wrong, sir. You lose. Good day, sir.
Maybe, juuuuuust maybe, your response when you are alone against a half dozen people arguing against you (who are using both specific experiments and data gotten straight from the game's files, and you have nothing but your memory) should be "hey, maybe I remembered it wrong", not "I am infallible and literally everyone else is completely wrong, are making up data, and only agreeing with each other to feel cool".
"Specific experiments" "Game files" "Data" AKA bullshit they pulled out of their ass that prove nothing. I don't see anything that verifies anything at all but ok feel free to believe in falsities if it makes you feel better. Last I checked you can't "experiment" on the past anyway. The only way to know for sure is to ask the devs. Some proggy cheat tool for FFXI IcyHot666 or whoever made that was programmed to display something that has nothing to do with a tiger's movement speed is irrelevant and can't magically time travel to 5 years ago or whatever to measure how fast a tiger is moving. It can't even measure it now because no such thing exists
you're all retarded for responding to him
