If it really is just a flat free 6 dark matter synths that will be interesting and I'm going to have to beg people to help me get at least one piece of armour so I can take advantage of this campaign.

Why not Iroha? I never really use her so I'm guessing some kind of auto-RR she has?
Yeah, Iroha already does the whole fill up HP instead of dying thing normally, I guess they're just reusing that code for the campaign or something? Who knows.
How does that work specifically? Once every fight? Once every now and then but with a long cooldown? Or is it simply once per summon? Meaning that once your trust used that you'd need to dismiss him and summon him again?
I've only ever had her do it once before dying for real. It's guaranteed the first time she dies from damage though (although I have no idea how it reacts to doom/death). If there's a cooldown, it's probably really long. Certainly long enough to make dismiss/summoning the better way of refreshing it.
Shouldn't have taken all my subjobs to 50 last weekend, didn't want to wait any longer.
Would be nice to get to do some Vagary, though, haven't done it even once.
Really, really wish they'd just stop with Monster Rearing (whoever asked the "can we have Mandragora?" question) and fucking finish Monstrosity, especially with all these campaigns for it and no one doing it because there's like over half of the monster list unfinished. Guess they're too busy with HQ Crystals and Wildgrass stacking.
Monstrosity isn't going to be seeing any updates soon, we had a dev post about it.
Many (possibly all of them, too lazy to go back and check) of the posts regarding Mog Gardens are in their own dedicated thread, which was started by Fujito himself back when it was first introduced in 2013. Fujito's also one of the few dev team members who posts personally on a pretty regular basis, sometimes just a "how my week went" post (he has this thread which is basically like a blog) and sometimes details of what he's working on, so I'd venture a guess all this info about anything related to Mog Gardens is probably a result of Fujito being more social with the players.
I somehow missed that post, probably because it was from the flan guy who only really says "can't do it, won't do it" and generally has zero idea what he's talking about, so I skip it. Thanks for the link/explanation though with Mog Gardens, although it really is stupid how they see the outcry for content and just virtually ignore it.
Guess you just need to be jp and/or a dev to get content pushed
Man, I really do not like these super quick WKR repops. They're like what, 5 mins? Before they seemed to be like 10 minutes.
When they were longer people kept to a cycle because of repops. Now they are so short, people seem to just do whatever the fuck they want so pretty frequently you're entering to a dead/dying mob.
It's still probably more gil but not by as much as it would be if people actually kept to a cycle. There's also no time to convert gear now which diminishes gil somewhat (obviously counteracted by 4 HP Bayld per kill)
This is just stupid. Shits literally dying before my NA connection can even load the things with the 800 trusts in the area, and I'm losing my KI and getting 0 items.
Achuka loads at 33%, by the time I target and run up to it, its dead.
It is annoying, but the thing I found more efficient to do in those situations is:
1) don't zone in, wait for everyone to go out because the WKR is over, then wait 5 mins and you'll be the first one to enter
2) go to one of the higher zones. The electric bird in Marjami is kinda easy and not a lot of people do that (they usually spam Achuka/Tchakla/Colkhab). Could go to Kumhau or Yumcax too but those are slower to kill honestly.
RIP Monstrosity, you had such potential and were so close to being awesome
Problem is if you do option 1, you're absolutely killing your efficiency. You're effectively only killing 1/3rd of what you could be doing.
It actually got better after my complaint post last night. What seems to happen is that people jumping into the cycle don't know where the cycle is. And since the repops are so quick now, they understandably just jump into the first zone that lets them. Which means slow warpers or people regrabbing KI's often stumble into a low HP fight because the boss is already pulled when the mob charges in.
What I found to be the most effective strategy was:
1. Go on a job that can gain credit quickly in low HP scenarios. I picked BST as 1 Ready move got credit and doesn't need gear.
2. Don't summon a ton of trusts before engaging, it wastes time and is unnecessary. WHM only is what I do (after seeing mob remaining HP)
3. Be a dick and run to the ??? exit before it dies so you can make a quick escape
4. Lock your warp ring and set your HP at E. Adoulin 1 so you can grab KI's quickly
5. If the train is large/killing quick, voluntarily skip a mob when regrabbing KI's
I also go convert gear into Bayld every 6 kills. It's usually a loss/break even compared to just spamming the fights as you will definitely miss 1 fight, possibly 2, but it frees up invent space and also gives a breather if you want it. Not the most efficient but I just skip a full cycle when I do this.
