    I think there's two aspects to consider about that.

    First, it might be a fix they had already developed but couldn't put into the patch (which gets prepared and packeted days before we players receive it, and it can't be touched again once it's into "production" phase. Similar to how you can't modify anymore a game that's in "gold" phase).

    Second, if that's not the case, it's probably something related to how "serious" the issue is judged according to what I'm sure they have as their own internal issues-evaluating scale and/or something that could be fixed within a few minutes, literally, of work.
    The Boost issue it's a different matter.
    Will they acknowledge it's an issue? If they do, do they already know what's causing it? If they do and if they fix it, will it be all right or will it create other consequences in a domino thing? I mean things might be slightly more complicated than changing a value from 0 to 1.

    First and foremost I just hope they're gonna accept it as "not working" and that they're gonna do something about Focus/Dodge durations too, like revert them. Are they seriously scared about 2 minutes of 20% crit rate every 5 minutes? I mean srsly...
    It's sad though. Even if they manage to fix the "mess" they created, this also implies we're not likely to see other changes to MNK for a long, long, long time, if ever.
    Which also implies they will never "fix" Impetus for instance, which is such a shame...

    This is just a bug fix that appears to hit only some players. Some players who should be able to buy the crag warp rings are not seeing them. Kinda nice that they managed to push a bugfix this fast and bundled with a scheduled update instead of an extra emergency maint.

    New dev posts:

    JP1) They are actively working on adding sc element notation to ws, but since they believe that there is little point to doing so until there is an explanation of how sc works in-game, we won't be seeing it until that part is done, which will take some time.

    JP2) Not 100% sure on exactly what they are talking about here tbh. ^^;; I think they are working on adding additional seasonal event related Moogles in Adoulin, but they ran out of time to get that in for this month. Neither OP or ComRep specified exactly which event they were talking about.

    I totally understand how bug fixin works lol. Like i said i was hoping. What exactly is wrong with impetus by the way?

    They put Nyarlko's bug reports in accepted so I think they have already acknowledged the issue. They have fixed other issues (some perhaps as complicated as this one) within a week or so of an update in the past. thats why i was hopeful.

    Didn't feel like retyping, but "Accepted Bugs" does not mean that they acknowledged that there is a problem. A better name would be "Not-Rejected Bug Reports That Followed the Prescribed Template". Keep an eye on which subforum they get moved to from there tho, since that will confirm whether it's considered a bug or not.

    In this case, most of the basic functionality appears to be working as advertised, so it's probably not a simple fix like a value change. :/

    Trumpy Impetus is not "broken" per sè, would just need a rebalancment to make the consequence for a miss less severe

    They also have accepted bug reports from like 5 years ago in their 500 or so they have in that subforum (that's just English side btw jp side about as big though probably some overlap). The vast majority of quickly fixed issues are either potentially beneficial to players or massive like can't even access content/npc/crashing type bugs. Simple things not working as wanted/intended. Remember they accepted the macc for blu and ws several times and then when people made more they said there is nothing wrong and put exact same bug report for the same thing into not a bug section. And then fixed blu but said ws was fine and finally years later actually acknowledged ws and fixed it

    JP1) It would take a lot more work than expected to adjust BGM when riding a chocobo, so they can't do it at this time.

    I'm so glad they address the real issues like music. Game is totally unplayable if I can't pick and change chocobo music.

    I actually do consider the mount music a pretty big issue. It gets old fast and ruins the mood of a zone. Mount music + no battle music in Escha/Reisenjima are why I don't play with sound any more.

    I have literally never heard the mount music. Nor reisen. I've had this shit muted since 2009.

    Mount music I can understand, but why battle music? There's nothing, absolutely nothing, as detrimental to actual immersion as BGM switches for battle. It's not as bad as separate battle screens (FFX was an abomination in that regard), but ideally, the BGM should simply incorporate the feeling of battle in whichever zone you're currently in.

    Appeared to be a pretty standard commercial at first glance based on the content and the words I can read at a glance. Darn you for beating me to posting about these. ><;; Was just laughing at the Malboro video. If that vid was legit, they've had some rather famous customers even with the 6mon wait list on reservations. ("Steve Jobs" in the guest book...) Think the big thing is that THERE ARE ENGLISH SUBTITLES! So everyone go watch and have a giggle.

    ... Does this mean that the Green Festival is just a promotion for their Rancid Coffee? ._.

    EDIT: Found an extra link to the "Morbol Cafe" website here. They sure seem to be going all out for what sounds like a joke event.
