    More like 10-11 seconds really if you expended them with timer up. But really right now the only really useful move that expends all runes while tanking is lunge.


    Also holy mother of pup. Do they realize they are effectively over doubling the attack speed of the auto In 1 update?

    I think it's safe to assume run will only get up to acc bonus 3. I believe it's very unlikely that it'll get more.

    Does anyone know what kind of haste overdrive is? Wondering how much haste an auto could have with overdrive + turbo II + pet haste gear. If there's no floors being hit that would be 75% haste, but if it's magical haste doesnt that cap at 40%? so that would only be 65% during 2 hour

    Not sure if there is a way to currently differentiate between magical and ja on pup. If it's ja you will be able to get to 80% unless for some reason they didn't put a total delay cap on auto in which case even more. If it's magic then 68.75.

    This is assuming you can hit the magical cap with turbo chargers. Seems like a safe bet though considering the first one gives 25%.

    Actually can you equip both at the same time? And do we have numbers on 2?

    This is a weird one, but RUN starts Tactical Parry at RUN40 and gets to tier 3, while DNC starts at DNC77 and gets to tier 4. Critical Attack Bonus is strange for DNC and WAR, too. THF doesn't beat NIN and DNC on Dual Wield, but one THF starts getting it at THF83, it gets the following two tiers very quickly, while NIN and DNC have 15 or 20 levels between tiers. This doesn't really say anything about how many tiers of Accuracy Bonus RUN is likely to get, other than that there is a lot of unpredictability with late-introduced job traits.

    The RUN changes are... perplexing. Well, one of them anyway.

    Half rune recast for half enmity works for me. I can put them up a bit quicker now, but it doesn't solve the JA delay issue at 5 seconds.

    Accuracy Bonus is also nice. I expect tier 3 since the first tier comes at lv50; 50/70/90.

    Self heal will be really nice provided it's on a decent cooldown. Anything over 3 mins would be too high. Added likability since it doesn't take runes, but the type of rune affecting how much you're healed for sounds... odd.

    Swipe just seems like a complete and total waste of time. Why? Did we need a 1/3 effective Lunge?


    What gets me the most is that none of this helps RUN become more physically durable.

    Wonder if maybe the cure one different runes might do different things. Like maybe each one heals a different amount of hp with most likely light being the highest... but on top of that they might heal statuses. So you put up say a ice rune and pop the ability to cure silence and some hp? If so that would pretty damn cool if it's at a decent recast.

    For me, swipe is a nice addition if the recast is short. Lunge is just way too long of a wait and you are vulnerable right after use. RUN needs more offensive abilities and this obviously adds to it and its versitility if magic damage is needed in a more frequent base.

    Swipe is going to be useless unless its enmity and/or damage are substantially greater than I expect. It's a JA, which means you're going to incur 2 seconds of delay when you use it. You could instead just keep swinging.

    hopefully it does something like apply a debuff or status ailment. something. it just seems so remarkably pointless otherwise

    It might be nice if we had any expectation of it being better than a 1 rune lunge. Or even full rune lunge itself is fairly underwhelming in terms of dps with 4 ja usage to do it.

    What'd be kinda cool is if it *gave* you runes. Sort of like RUN Presto or something. Use it with one rune up, do damage and go to three runes. Of course that won't happen, but hey.

    If I had to guess, the type of rune affecting the cure ja will probably just be based on day/weather similar to elemental siphon. But really it could be anything. Swipe seems like it will be useless unless it has a really low cool down and does more damage than a normal melee swing, or has some other effect like others have said.

    @pup haste:

    BEAR with me, as this is not pure data (I need to get a parser again, just haven't bothered, been trying to get my jobs caught up with the gorgeousness that is gearswap)

    TEST1 : I went to marjami Ravine, found a lair rieve and basically used a barebones valoredge head/frame, no attachements
    (had to use the ingame timestamp)
    So i was looking at a 5-7 second delay with no attachments, no haste gear

    TEST2 : Put on Turbo charger 1, and again with no haste gear, noticed (eyeballed) 5-7 seconds

    TEST3 : Threw up various wind maneuvers, and basically observed what i would have assumed is the 25% cap, as my AA's dropped to around 4.5 seconds (avg.)

    TEST4 : Repeated this with 25% in gear (Muzrim head (6%), foire body109(3%),Pantin hands (4%), Hurch'lan(5%),omodaka legs (4%), foire109 feet(3%) which i think is the cap... not sure if you can hit 26%
    Didn't see any discernable difference in attack speed compared to 3 wind maneuvers with no gear haste.

    Noticed no difference in attack speed with no wind maneuvers either, which follows along the lines of the 25% gear cap from gear and turbo charger 1 (which blows)
    TEST5 : Removed TC1 and equiped TC2, and removed all haste gear from myself
    Noted the same 4-5 (4.5) second delay in AutoAttacks.
    TEST6 : built up wind maneuvers again, still no difference in AA speed/delay (at either 1,2,or 3 wind maneu.)
    TEST7 : Threw on my automaton haste gear, again no difference (then did the manevuers but at this point i was fairly certain what i was gonna be expecting)
    TEST8 : Both TC1 and TC2 equiped, full haste gear, 3 wind maneuvers, same 4.5sec delay between attacks

    What i figured (conclusion part) was equiping the TC2 is 25% haste, with no wind maneuvers up. Basically it caps your Automaton's haste without the need to focus on spaming maneuvers.
    While this would provide a considerable increase in Master DPS and puppet DPS, it wasn't what anyone wanted i don't think... :/

    What i still need to test is having TC2 equipped and seeing if optic fiber bumps over the haste cap (currently i don't believe that it would, unless it's increase where to come in the form of a seperate factor)

    So yeah... sorry it's not logged out accurately, and I probably fucked something up, but i'm somewhat assed to really test any further as apparently it's all getting changed in about 2.5 weeks and cock gobblers kept coming in and "soloing" the rieves i was trying to test on.

    Hope this clears anything up. Also hope someone buys the two TC2's i have in my bazzar, because it honestly does let the Master focus on himself while knowing that your Auto will still be doing their max (or acc if it's a tougher mob, etc.)
    (noted no difference in TP gained per hit either, steady through all tests at 9.3 TP/hit)

    I can only assume the vivi-valve 2 probably caps cure potency with no light maneuvers up either, which could have some potential for situations where you can't summon trusts /shrug.

    SE used to implement new spells, traits and JA on the test server. Why have they stopped doing that?

    Didn't one of the Dev posts recently state they are changing Haste from Turbo Charger I and II to magical haste instead of equipment haste?

    you know we don't even know if cait sith will be in any way useful after like 3 years of waiting

    i sure wish they had like a testing area

    then we could give feedback so they get an idea of what people think and they can change it before its too late

    but alas such a thing only exists in dreamland
