They really need to lower obsidian prices because geez....they are way too high.

Why the fuck do you guys post findings in the discussion thread?
Because crap "I think that this might be what they're saying" quasi-translations don't merit being in the findings thread.
The last Melvien revelations thing made mention of a monster called Dullahan. That's most likely the headless iron giant with the large axe in the skirmish teaser. Dullahans, for anyone who has played Castlevania or familiar with Irish mythos would be familiar with the headless horseman/knights.
+2 Skirmish Weapons will be... interesting. THey may be iLvl 119, could be an easy way to get a great weapon assuming they're dumb and make this incarnation of Skirmish just as mundane as the last two. 3 tiers of augment stones again doesn't bode well though... was hoping they'd refine the augment system to be much, much less random. Hopefully it isn't exactly the same as Skirmish v2 augment system, but I bet it will be, probably with even more added augments for added randomization
I honestly didn't mind the Skirmish augment system TOO much (at least the armor), because it wasn't too hard to get something that was useful even with just 1 or 2 stones. It isn't like the synergy augs where it seriously takes like hundreds of tries before you get it just right because that's the only choice, it only takes hundreds of tries if you're obsessive about it.
I guess I could start posting any translation work I do into the tracker if you guys want me to, I'd probably make a few more mistakes than Slycer does though. You guys seem to be pretty google translate happy here and usually get the general thrust down pretty well, though. Not getting Slycer back anyways. Rough translations are the best you can get unless someone steps up to do them.
I hope it's 119... if so I'll be interested to see the stats on the gun and great sword since they were great before the WKR 115 and RoE weapons came in.
I feel this update will be the beginning of sidegrades and more variety between higher ilvls... the coming equipment might even help make life easier for the AA and Zilart Bros battles.. even though many have got them mastered.. might be easier to take on Very Difficult.
As for Skirmish The Third
I hope they just adopt the Delve augmenting system and forget that random shit.
Or make it so NQ stones are random and when you get an augment set you like. The +1 and +2 stones to strengthen that set but I'm probably asking for SE to do some miracle programming![]()
this is fucking dumb that you cant transfer your augments over to +1 armor. did spend like 60 mill for my hagondes mab set ... this kind of autokilled skirmish 3 for me
Well the difference with the abj ones were you were going for getting the highest augment sometimes on more than 1 stat while on skirmish you are just shooting for getting anything of one stat. Part of this was you often needed it to be higher to be good but also just because you could attempt them so much more. If verdigris+2 was so plentiful that they went to 30k each I'd imagine going for max pdt plus max stat other stat would become the norm.
Here's hoping it's more like the 2nd abj augs only with less of the augs being shitty lol
Give the player an option to pick which non PDT stat they want. Problem solved.
I'm pretty sure they said that Skirmish III will be 119, but that can change obviously.
The thing about a lot of the abjuration augments was that unless you got the absolute perfect augment, they were inferior to other choices. My Byakko's Haidate, for example, has CritDam+4%, AGI+6. Since the main stat for that pants was STP both those stats had to be randomed for, and then randomed to the highest possible value to be of any use whatsoever, otherwise they'd be inferior to Thaumas Kecks etc.Well the difference with the abj ones were you were going for getting the highest augment sometimes on more than 1 stat while on skirmish you are just shooting for getting anything of one stat. With Skirmish, even the worst augment could be useful. Even if I only got -1% PDT and +3 attack on Otronif Gloves, they'd still be really good gloves, and for me that's the difference. I shouldn't need perfect augments to make the damn thing usable. Obviously getting -4% PDT +2DA Otronif Gloves should be the end goal, but that wasn't the requirement for the piece to be useful in the first place. The fact that the playerbase consists of obsessive perfectionists isn't really a problem with the system, IMO.
Although I do agree they should've allowed augments to transfer. That's part of the reason I didn't put a whole lot of effort into my Skirmish piece in the first place; I knew they'd just get wiped clean again in a few months.
Has there been any confirmation on augments wiping or not? I understand weapons wiping, but the amount of investment it took to get some of the armor augments is staggering. Pretty retarded if they just go and wipe them all.
I fucking tossed some of my trash Skirmish weapons because I had 115/117 counterparts and no room with all this situational shit. Now I have to get them again, fuck you.
You should know better. Never throw shit away (ie like all the idiots throwing af gear, etc)
They stated that in the same post that they stated Skirmish v3 would take our current Skirmish gear and weapons to 119. Duh.
They said going forward from here, they wish to no longer have systems that require players to hold on to or acquire gear from older content. Except for certain circumstances, in which they will make the gear easier to get.
I just hope the wing trade ins aren't retarded. I've got like 60 of those saved up, I wouldn't really mind aug wipes if I can get 20 Wailing Stones +2s out of those.
