Probably not harder than Difficult single AAs, or around there.
I don't see the problem honestly.
Or rather I wouldn't see the problem if they did this while also releasing new alliance content (new delve stuff), which didn't happen... but hardly anybody is doing Delve anymore these days.
Shit is old hey
Teaser prolly has me more excited than I should be for the update. Maybe I'm just itching to get back to the missions...
Maybe I'm looking way too much into it, but I find it interesting that towards the end, Aricia pulls out the founder king's sword and appears to call Kumhau to her. Regardless of what that all implies, I'm glad just to see a Naakual getting into the missions. For as important and powerful as they were supposed to be, they haven't really done anything at all with them, other than WKRs.
/excite about the tiger thingy, and the new mobs/skins in Skirmish. That new area looks pretty fucking cool in the trailer, much larger than what the JP teaser made it seem like. The large open areas with pits and little balcony areas kinda reminded me of a movie from a long time ago. The Cube I think it was? It was about some sort of moving prison of death or something, I just remember when the people escaped to the outside of itt, there was just nothing. No idea why it reminds me of it, but maybe the inner area holds the 7th Naakual which was sealed away, and not meant to be released. /shrug
The missions are what I'm looking forward to the most as well, actually. I like what they've given us of it, I just hate how slow it's coming out. We're seriously a year into the missions now and not a whole lot has happened.
I'm literally counting down the days I can't wait for this update. Dying to see the new stats on all the new gear. I also like to see how much different delve will be. Surprised there's no Delve 2.0... I guess that might be March?
The only thing I'd consider "re-re-re-re-adjustments" would be the roll out of the ilvl system, reives, and WKRs. But really, those were handled in a staggered way because a) it was Matsui's intention to make things easier over time, and b) an actual need to make content easier/worth doing due to a decline in players.
Maybe I'm cynical about it, but I don't think they wasted all that much time with it. And if you're referring to all the thing's they've been fixing over the past 4-6ish months, you're a moron. So many small quality of life improvements that make for an overall less tedious experience. Yeah, they can "waste" all the time they want doing those, far as I'm concerned.
The progress of the missions has been slow though. They've had so many "missions" that felt more like side quests from WotG, or that simply could of been handled with storyline driven quests. That doesn't make them any less enjoyable (story wise, fighting wise, they need to step it up) though. The fact that the storyline seems to be heading for a more meaty direction is just what people have been waiting for, not a result of them dilly dallying around with fixes to the core of the game, or adding content (even if it is rehashed) that players have been all too happy to do.
Side note OT, re watched the trailer and noticed the demon tiger thing was attacking exorcists. Wonder what their role in all of this is. Complete long shot, but was talking with a friend the other day about the sad state of coalitions and how that entire system seems to of fallen to the way side. He mentioned what if they added more coalitions as the expansion progressed, and the first that came to mind was undead repopulating Ulbukka, and the exorcists opening a coalition to recruit pioneers to cull the undead. Would certainly add a bit more life to the system to see more coalitions spring up from the progression of the story.
reminder that wotg missions took three years
Past mistakes shouldn't be an excuse, if anything they should be an incentive to do better.
The lion part of the trailer looks like the typical start to a BC.
so video trailers before major version updates is a thing now? i could live with that.
the mission teasers generated the most hype for me..
I'm excited about what arciela and co do in Kamihr.. and more importantly what happens with Kumhau. If the story of the Founder King holds through, the dagger Arciela carries, the Otharsyne, is essentially a symbol of his power, which would mean when Kumhau came running, it was because he was bowing to her will.
The scene of her with the dagger and the lion are clearly different/separated(the sky is way different and she's standing on top of something while the lion jumps down). It wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that she has to prove her strength, with our help, before any Naakual will bow down to her, which I agree they will eventually.
I really think its lame Delve is being 6 manned stuff. The rest of it looks really awesome.
I wouldn't assume that. I think they will have mechanics that will make them more difficult (maybe stun resistance), but the actual level of the opponent will be the same. They already tried to standardize the WKs (all 116 I think?) and I don't see them making delve weapons that aren't 119 like the others, because really that would be pretty dumb.

Which post do you want me to translate? If something comes up and it looks important you can always PM me and I can go translate it. I'm just not checking the Dev Tracker like I used to since I stopped playing XI, but I still enjoy occasionally following what's going on with the game.
Sweet! Slycer is (sorta) back! I've missed your translations. Thank you for putting in the extra effort for the rest of us.
