Ya that was a little bizarre, but outside of that, I really like how the series ended.

I didn't quite get that scene either, but it was a nice finale. I can't say that I liked the developing psychosis in the last few episodes, but the show remained great, pity that it's over.

This is probably old news to a lot of people. I watched Toradora, which has the same author as Golden Time, and I really enjoyed it. IMO it was several levels above Golden Time. If you enjoyed Golden Time and haven't seen Toradora yet, I highly recommend you check it out.
