They had a time out; not like it was all-or-nothing on the play. It's also putting the ball in their best player's hands, which doesn't seem like a terrible decision to me.

Ryan Pickett is our only "big free agent" signing (and that was back in '06). Kuhn was cut by the Steelers and Seneca Wallace was unsigned til we grabbed him to backup.
