Deng + a pick traded for Andrew Bynum
Deng + a pick traded for Andrew Bynum
Actually draft picks going to bulls I think
they are. top-10 protected first (King's pick) and two 2nds. Bynum to be waived immediately
at least they have the Bears
Luol Deng for peanuts?

pick is unprotected in 2 years and still valuable outside of the top 10, especially in next year's draft. makes sense for both teams
Sac pick is top 10 protected until 2017 where it becomes a 2nd rounder.
2014 first round draft pick from Sacramento
Sacramento's 1st round pick to Cleveland protected for selections 1-12 in 2014, 1-10 in 2015, 1-10 in 2016 or 1-10 in 2017; if Sacramento has not conveyed a 1st round pick to Cleveland by 2017, then Sacramento will instead convey its 2017 2nd round pick to Cleveland protected for selections 56-60 (if this pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyed, then Sacramento's obligation to Cleveland will be extinguished) [Cleveland-Sacramento, 6/30/2011]
that's enough time for it to be a decent chance to fall outside the top 10
obv will suck for the Bulls if it doesn't
but the kings tho
Congrats on the Bulls going into full tank mode. I hope they can get a real point guard with the pick.
I always liked deng but team sorry for jabari makes more sense right now. Plus the ability to sign Melo in the off-season cause Moss says he's leaving and you have the fastest rebuild I can remember. Meanwhile pretenders like the spurs hold off the inevitable for another year.
BTW boozer getting amnestied this summer
oh god i don't want melo in a bulls uniform but FUCK IT LETS DO IT MELO #1
I thought you liked Thibs? Why would you want the coach killer on your team?
Melo can't go to Chicago to destroy the Bulls, he has to go to LA to destroy the Lakers damn it.
Don't be silly.
It'll be his feet.
edit: Ridiculously excited about this trade. If the season ended today, the Bulls would have the 12 (charlotte) and 13 (theirs) in the draft. The Bulls will probably legitimately drop into the 8-10 range. They are only 2 wins above the #5 pick right now.
Long way to go, but lets get Butler, Snell, Murphy and Teague some experience and figure out what we got.
JR Smith fined 50k for trying to untie someones shoes. The Knicks somehow find ways to make me facepalm harder as the season progresses.
ESPN sources say JR is on the trading block.
