This is why I can't stand the Clippers bandwagoners in LA.

I can get not liking the Lakers, but no Los Angelean should be supporting a Sterling owned team. The guy made his millions being a slumlord and exploiting the city's poorest; he has been sued by Housing and Urban Development multiple times for racism and multiple substandard condition violations. Add in how we know he fired a coach so he wouldn't have to pay for the man's cancer treatment.

So, question about the Sterling story. Can the NBA (and by that I mean the other team owners) say that they don't want him to be an owner anymore or something like that because he's hurting the league's image/mission/etc?

During halftime of the Pacers/Hawks they said he has no business owning a team, and I agree, but is there anyway he can be forced to sell the team?

Him being a scumbag isn't really new, I doubt anything will happen. It's just that the Clippers get attention for being more than a laughing stock now that we will dwell on the story for a little longer.

So that's my other question -- this guy has a history of being a racist, and an asshole, and a generally terrible person, so will this be any different? It seems like it's getting a lot of attention now, but I wonder how much the attention is tied to the Clipper's fortunes in the playoffs.
