i could see the suns making it work. they have a bonanza of first-rounders to trade and are an up and coming team with lots of young talent and a good new coach. i can only imagine a guy like him being thrilled just to be in the playoffs year after year.

difference being Goran Dragic and Eric Bledsoe are both a million times better than Ricky Rubio. those guys are already pick and roll death with a mediocre stretch 5 in Channing Frye. best stretch 4 in the league combined with those bros's's abilities + Gerald Green spacing the floor ? fuhgedaboudit. only problem would be actually keeping them, a million first round picks but Minny prolly won't bite on picks alone.

ricky rubio was star potential never realized. dragic and bledsoe are stars now and bledsoe at least has all-star games in his future. not just that but the suns actually were two games shy of a 50 win season, and in the NBA's fucked up world that wasn't enough to make the playoffs. huge difference compared to the wolves. but yeah my guess is it'd be at least a couple picks and markief morris to start. i wouldn't hate it if i were minny either, cause it sounds like love is done with the wolves.

Kevin Love may want out of Minnesota, but Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor expects the All-Star forward to be with the team next season.

Taylor told the Pioneer Press on Monday that he doesn't plan to trade Love despite the player's intention not to re-sign with the Timberwolves when his contract expires after the 2014-15 campaign.

So I guess the Timberwolves are going to look like Cleveland after Lebron left?
