DISCUSSION: 11/04/2013 Version Update

High buff situation against Tojil, I get this without using any of the other new gear:
Glanzfaust with free AM3 > Verth with 30% ODD > Oatixur > Spharai > Verth without 30% ODD > Glanzfaust without AM

Most of them have about 20% higher DPS than the highest my DNC can obtain under the same conditions.

....bugger.

Think I just wasted 80mil before the update!

Excalibur 300 plutons, looks like all weapons take this, going to try and kill some outside delve nms to see how much they drop.

They never intended to upgrade relics, they're only doing it because people complained about them not being the cat's pajamas anymore. It's a token upgrade for Monk, but at the moment some jobs like War are getting total benefit. At least until they add new Delve for the tree and the HQ Ixtab becomes available to shit on everything that moves.

Not enough content to draw me back to the game, personally. Those of you sticking it out though should have lots of fun with new zones and boss. Call me when there's new Delve shit.

I'd spend 80mil for 20% more counter on my Oatixur. Are we pretending gil is hard to make or that ADL is hard? Sure most end content is alliance fights with TP spam, but Mnk is most fun in low man situations and the counter+ is absolutely useful there.

Still never really understood how they consider REMs sidegrades. With all the effort and time you put into them, they should be shitting all over everything else in the game. This is coming from someone who has never (or ever plans on) taking an REM to 99.

Still need to look at weapons and I already have at least 23 AF pieces I want to upgrade... gonna take 'til 2015.
Well it kinda depends on the JS bonus. If it's the same as NQ AF1 then the number will be much lower.
Wonder if it will be easier to upgrade AF1+1 pieces compared to NQ ones? Kinda like for AF2 you needed 30 vs 50 forgotten items.

Where do Maochinoli place themselves in that chart?

Well, the difference between them were not large. We're talking about 1150-1250 DPS.

Well, 5 tomes needed for each artifact +1 piece some random crafting items. 10 tomes are needed for nq versions.

Laevateinn has 22 less damage than koga, and 48 less delay. Who needs myrkr when you can spirit taker for your entire mp pool? I'm totally kidding, but seriously 200 base damage is just insane.

AF Feet for BLU enhance chain affinity, wonder if it's worth using over feet that have better STR/DEX since AF3+2 head's chain affinity effect pales in comparison to head pieces that add like 20+ STR/DEX

The +stat difference in the feet slot isn't as large of a difference. These will almost certainly be best for CA spells.
