REM Upgrades

[Yugl]

A quest which enables players to reforge their relic, mythic, and empyrean weapons has been added.

Prerequisites
Players must be in possession of a relic, mythic, or empyrean weapon only equippable by level 99 characters.
Players must either be in possession of either the detached stinger, flame-scarred skull. or craggy fin key items; or have cleared the “difficult” or “very difficult” version of one of the battlefields for which a macrocosmic orb is required for entry.
* For mythic weapons, players must have viewed the associated event that comes with acquiring them.
Receiving the quest
Players must meet the prerequisites given above and speak with Oboro in Port Jeuno (E-6).

Items required to reforge the weapons
The requisite items by be obtained by vanquishing NMs and boss monsters in Delve content.
* These items may be obtained regardless of whether the NMs are vanquished in the field or within a fracture.
Obtaining items in battlefields
These items may also be obtained as rewards in battlefields for which macrocosmic or microcosmic orbs are required for entry.
* These items can only be acquired on normal, difficult, or very difficult settings.
* The chance of receiving these items varies by difficulty level and type of orb used.

For those having issue flagging this quest:

When i logged in earlier the NPC wouldnt give me the dialogue till i finished Come full circle, and to finish that i had to go to the palace, and examine the door without any weapon on. Then i had to go to that crazy mithra's place. After that the quest ended and the NPC gave me the dialogue in port jeuno to upgrade conquerer.

Not sure how I feel about Nirvana. You have to full time it to get the avatar level bonus.

Because it has 0 Avatar MAB and 0 BP Delay Reduction. Those are pretty important, especially the MAB. I'm not sure the boost to attack and the level increase is enough to offset it.

Don't forget "Increases Blood Pact Damage". With all the pet MAB you can get on Hagondes, MAB on the weapon is probably less important than it used to be.

Has anyone ran the spreadsheets on 99 Koga with Fudo? The DPS has to be just insane.

121 MAB is nothing to scoff at. Like I said, I'm not sure. If that increase is enough to offset that MAB, then it's better. Otherwise, it's not.

So it looks like it's not possible to flag the Mythic upgrade quest if you have turned in another weapon (ever) after finishing your previous one. You need to complete Come Full Circle and then not do anything after that, because handing in another weapon resets your quest progress.

The updated rems look nice... however the effort required to upgrade seems decently higher than SE had been implying

It's certainly not easy to get the 300 necessary pieces atm. Been grinding somewhat casually killing pop nms outside and a couple runs of fracture only to find out that it seems like all three mats have an equal distribution drop rate from NMs with the possibility of cases/pouches for each type. Still have yet to witness a double drop of mats. Sucks to be a relic owner.

Yes you are wrong. Boulder Case, Boulder Box etc

121 MAB is nothing to scoff at. Like I said, I'm not sure. If that increase is enough to offset that MAB, then it's better. Otherwise, it's not.

Pretty confident a >10% BP damage bonus and 2 levels have good chances to counterbalance 121mab, and they work on all Blood Pacts, not just magical ones.
Considering we get 10% from AF3+2 body it's not too unrealistic to get at least 10% from Nirvana.

I would hope so. The problem with adding levels is as soon as you switch out of it, you lose the bonus, so it's not a staff you can swap in and out with a MAB or -BP Delay staff, unless I am misunderstanding.

Don't get me wrong, I want it to be an awesome staff you can use all the time. I just worry about the limitation.

Any idea on how much boxes drop yet?

No idea yet but so far we've had 5 up to 15 come from pouchs.

Edit: Pouch rate doesn't seem to be phenomenal lol. Using TH9+ for everything.
