    By the way, Spaekona's Coat checks for conserve mp before the special effect. You have your chance to have cost reduced by 1/16 to 1/2 and then cost is reduced by 2% of mdmg dealt. I've been farming these seals and basically never run out of mp unless I'm single targeting spells.

    Dmg wise on t1 nukes, whis probably what youd be using it for, will blm coat do more dmg than seidr cotehardie? If so, is the increase substantial enough making it worth the inventory+1 as seidr is usable on other jobs.

    Why would you possibly want to use this on spells which are already practically free? Also, seidr isn't going to be updated to 119 next update.

    Manawall and blm tanking! But I could think of a few reasons, such as having low mp and wanting to keep dps up.

    Why would i want to use seidr cotehardie vs blm coat? They both have the identical "converts 2% of elemental damage to mp", which comes down to blm coats ilvl 106 defensive bonuses, slightly higher macc, 18 int vs cotehardies 7 mab and utility on rdm geo sch for the same t1 spam.

    So once again, will the int+18 cause t1 nukes to deal significantly more damage compared to MAB +7 that its worth losing the inventory slot for blm coat when another piece of gear does the same job, but can be used on 3 oter jobs for the same purpose.


    And im not lookin to when SE updates to ivl 119 (which blm coat may only get a couple points of int and still no MAB), im talkin now.

    Also to note with all the stat vomit we get now you might be capping dint on t1 nukes depending on what you fighting

    Why would you use either of the coats for spamming T1 when hagondes offers 29 mab augment and stat vomit? The spells are already free.

    Has anyone upgraded DRG AF body/hands and can tell if "Jump TP Bonus" on those pieces affect Spirit/Soul Jump and not just regular Jumps? Probably the latter anyway considering how SE hates us. They already teased us saying Fly High would be 45s and now they just wrote on the official forums that they goofed and it's actually supposed to be 30 seconds, despite both the JP and NA version update notes and teaser notes. Fuckin' A

    Wonder if ilvl119 bodies will have Refresh+3, bet they will considering that Refresh+2 is ilvl89 shit. ilvl119 heads will probably get Refresh+2 while theyre at it I suppose.

    because it could involve bumping stone to blizzard/thunder spam for free.
    And really, using a perfect augment in your counter augument is pretty shitty, considering some people have tossed 20 mil worth of +2 stones before even SEEING a mab aug, let alone a capped one.

    I brought up the coat because I've been using it to great success on AoE spells. I can kill 3-4 enemies at a time nonstop until seals drop with close to no mp lost. I didn't know I was supposed to cater to someone with bad gear. It's not like we use excuses like I'm too poor and we need realistic gear sets for ANY other job. You can't just spam teir 1 spells if you're solo and the enemy is mobile. You logically need to kill it before it gets through your defensive abilities granted by sub job. You have to use higher tier spells which you're not even talking about. If you're talking about casting tier 1 spells over and over on an enemy that is preoccupied then it sounds like you're in a group setting or you're casting spells on reive rocks or roots or something. If you're talking about group setting then there will be support jobs. I personally play in a linkshell with access to jobs like RDM, BRD, COR, GEO so it's not an issue to expect the mp required to cast the elemental spell best suited for the situation. Sometimes that's a stone 1 other times it might be fire 1. But regardless I'll still have at least 21 mp/tic since BRD is used at every single event ever and that'll cover every tier 1 spell when you factor in your own personal sublimation or refresh and myrkr and idle set between enemies.

    Is Spurrina Coif supposed to be rare after like 2 years of it being released?

    While I agree with you about the argument of using perfect augmented skirmish gear is silly since assuming equal distribution of range and type of stats would put that somewhere in the 1% range and spending possibly hundreds of mil for something that will probably be outdated soon is silly. At the same time the odds of using 20mil worth of stones at least over here where they are under 600k each and not getting any of 1 type of augment like 3% so if you are arguing odds both are silly. It should be safe to assume that it's fairly doable to get 20-25 mab unless you got really garbage luck.

    As far as Spurrina while it has been rare right now if you have the seals it should be pretty easy to get the abj and possibly even the hexed peice itself

    Suppose 1/3 drop rate on hexed items and uniform distribution of hexed gear (25 NQ, 25 HQ, so 50 possible pieces), so (1/3)(1/50) = 1/150 is the probability of getting a particular hexed piece on a given run.

    Ah I forgot only 1 mob direct drops on that one. There is always ya know buying it lol. Or farming some squama and having it made

    Actually I forgot that you can get 2 chances at hexed gear per run so 1 in 75 that you get a particular piece per run

    I dont think the NQ/HQ distribution on that HKCNM is half and half on NQ/HQ, unless its atrocious luck that I have 5 NQ and 0 HQ. The problem of getting the -1 made (and it must be -1, since the NQ wont give 2 refresh) comes from material availability. Sure its not like Squamas are "hard" to get, but but popping Verthandi kills your KI (unless you cheat somehow and get to keep it), and you still only have approx a 45% chance of getting it.

    Also the abj doesnt seem to drop from anywhere but legion, so tossing seals at it wont work. However, with the really low Double Dragonion KCNM drop data durring event, I wouldnt rule out that possibility, based on the assertion that orc BCNM drops all 5 corvine pieces, Quadav drop all 5 Supernal pieces, Yags drop all 5 Transitory. One lenitive piece has been found in the Ghostbusters one, but no one does that one because fuck Sacrificial Chamber (having said that, I gave it a shot and got a Meteor for my efforts).

    And its definitely not a uniform chance from NQ and -1. Sort it by name, Theres a LOT more NQ dropping compared to the one listed -1.

    The abj itself shouldn't be too hard unless SE did decide that a few just don't drop while other entire full sets drop. But yeah farming squamas could take awhile... idk could farm the pops while making your woe weapons for gkt, club, staff or bow. It's not like it's hard or bad rng just time
