The abj itself shouldn't be too hard unless SE did decide that a few just don't drop while other entire full sets drop. But yeah farming squamas could take awhile... idk could farm the pops while making your woe weapons for gkt, club, staff or bow. It's not like it's hard or bad rng just time

I think each BC has the full set on each mob. It just so happens that Dragons is shit because you cant just go in blindly killing shit like the 3 beastmen (who knows how big the stat gain is if their HP is split up massively, even at ilvl 115), and sacrificial chamber is a piece of shit to get to. So those two have the least amount of data.

Did Brothers D'Aurphe SCNM 20 with MNK WHM 2x BLM SCH in 20 mins on difficult. Got Sors Shield from that one. DEF down is dangerous as the Fomors will smack you silly if it doesn't get ereased quicky. ACC was indeed a problem without songs.

I kept track when farming for my own alchemy:
Colorful>Yellow: 40/198
Yellow>Black: 11/50
Squama: 25/50 (With TH8+)
Shadow Yilb: 1/28 (This yilb glitched and repeatedly spun around, wiped with 4 people...)

Pretty sure they didn't pimp AF1 lv 109 too much so that we don't rush on them (well that and the fact it's a pain to get SKC...). And when they release AF1 lv 119 next month we will all be like "wtf!! OMG!!!" and think we should have started to upgrade earlier lol.

That +3 will become +20 I bet!

It's not that many of us aren't upgrading because they don't want to, but rather because of how it works.
Gathering seals first, gathering people second.
It's a lot of work for ilevel 109 gear, and with many other things to do post the release of the last patch, it's understandable how some people gave priority to other things for the moment.

This 2 week campaign thing is crazy right now might be more people settling into SKC fights once its over as well as when people cash in the log in campaign.

Its not really much work...You need 40 SKC. If you get a party of 6, presuming you get 2 SKC every 5 min (not zoning, could raise that drop rate tremendously via zoning), it'll take about 100 min to get 40 SKC. Pool them on to two people. Do Normal battlefield, that gets everyone 2 pages guaranteed, then do difficult battlefield, and that gets everyone 3 pages guaranteed.

takes about 2 hours from scratch. If you really wanted to, you can offer xp for people to sit in your party and you keep all the seals while you kill things. With the xp bonus event, even a level 60 can get a decent chunk of xp from this. Keep the spare pages that drop as well.

I've personally farmed about 180 skcs so far. It's getting quite boring. I need to finish BLM WHM SCH SMN RDM BLU so I think I need to farm up another 160 seals to finish all my jobs. It definitely goes faster if you can get friends or mules to afk in zone for you.

We probably have very different standards and I don't mean to judge yours, but personally considering we're talking about ilevel 109 upgrades, "gathering 6 people for 100 mins of boring kills" sounds a lot of effort to me, compared to the standards the rest of the game offers to the players at the moment.
With all of the things people probably had to do post patch, it's reasonable why many people didn't judge the those 100+ mins effort "worth it" for the moment.

It was more to highlight the fact that stats might be dissapointing for the moment but will be uber (more than likely) next update with 119 version. Well that's my opinion (and hopes?).

I'm pretty confident the ilevel 119 version will be pretty badass. The 109 already are better than the number suggests imho.

I'll be very happy if some of the armor for RDM BLM SCH GEO replaces hagondes mab 29 augments. As of right now I have to say that the low skill upgrades sincerely bothers me.
