    Looking at SSHD advice

    Never worked with SSHD before, so would be looking for some Pros and cons

    Been looking at this for my PS4

    They're pretty quick but only for devices that have an OS on the same drive they're using for storage. If you're regularly using more data than what the SSD chips hold you will not see a performance increase.

    They intelligently place the most use files on the flash chips. For Windows or Mac OS this is great because the OS will get placed there. On PS4 this will not be good because a single game will likely be larger than the flash chips.

    Guess I'll just go with 5400 1 to

    Scared that 7200 overheat since everything seems so compact

    There are plenty of 7200 RPM drives that run as cool as or cooler than many 5400 RPM drives. Look for a tear down or listing of PS4 specs that specifically lists the HDD Sony uses in their console, and then find a cooler-running 7200 RPM drive, and you'll be good to go. Now, I doubt you'll really notice the difference, but if you want it nonetheless, that's how you should approach it.
