It was solid all the way through. Loved the nice little pre-movie surprise. This was the Professor X we needed a long time ago, and god damn,Laura doesn't fuck around when those feral instincts kick in. 5/7

people in my theater were crying when she finally called him daddy. someone was in there cutting onions, because there wasnt a single dry eye in the room. Also, every Laura scene was BRUTAL. holy shit. The X-24 was a bit much, but meh. Also, yes. Professor stole every fucking scene. EASILY my favorite superhero ever.

Caught an IMAX showing last night, we all really enjoyed it. Agreed to all above, this Prof. X was best and Wolverine and X-23 were... happy that Deadpool showed us how to make an R-Rated comic flick.

Xavier's first F-Bomb had me actin' a fool, lmao. He was always kind of a dick in the books and such, love that he got to finally be that on screen.

Did I miss the explanation of why Mutants were no more? There is a few arcs that they could reference for that of course but I didn't catch wind of anything. I kept hoping for a Scarlet Witch name drop or something... Maybe I should assume Days Of Future Past since they already went there.

Everything post Xaviers death seemed extremely poorly thought out.
It was established earlier in the movie that they just wanted to kill the kids as a failed program, yet the finale involves kids being touch football tackled and restrained.
Only one of the kids is even shot and it was purposely non-lethal.
There was 0 reason for them to not just shoot every single kid as they were just property and their only worth was their genetics. Which, as shown earlier in the movie with the albino they were quite capable of taking what they needed from the corpse.
All these kids are built to be weapons and in flashbacks through the recordings are shown to have some sort of aptitude and anger within them, showing them attacking and killing guards. Yet when their lives are most in danger(assuming soldiers guns werent worthless props) they can do nothing but run with only a few given a chance to show off powers.

Why are they even going to Canada anyway? Why is Canada safe? Canada is literally where the weapon X program is from. Theoretically the kids could have been crossing the border onto the secret weapon X base without even knowing.

Why on earth do they use a veritable legion of mutant kids to combine their powers to kill donald who is nothing but a normal guy with a robo-arm, yet have 0 competency when it comes to dealing with x-24 barring the one injured kid who flips a truck.

To me everything beyond xaviers death felt like an entirely different stupider movie with no connection to the former.

Finally seeing mutant powers unleashed in an unapologetic violent manner was quite nice tho.

I feel asleep twice. Movie isn't bad, just bored of anything to do with Wolverine, such an overrated character that seems to be beloved by anyone to ever read a comic. I don't get it. At least this movie is driving the value of my Nyx #3s through the roof.

All three were fucking amazing in this movie. X-23 actress legit stole the scenes when it came to fisticuffs.
