I never tried that. I didn't think you could do it mid game. Fuck you for not telling me this earlier.
To be honest, i'm almost positive that your inventory from the non-speed run save was carried over (I haven't touched DD since XIV dropped - sorry). I ended up just going for the bare minimum to get Fournival found innocent (Chaimberlain's Affadavit [this can be duped also], the plea from his daughter Symone, and the bishop or whatever at the church). It might even be less than that to have him found innocent (or no guilty-sided evidence and just one piece in his favor?). Either way you -can- minimize the time investiture on the trial portion perhaps, if you can find Reynard/he's in a convienent place to buy his forged affadavits of innocence and pair it with the Chamberlain's Affadavit. As an aside i'd probably suggest having a Maker's Finger handy for Grigori too, just because he eats up a fuckton of time otherwise.
Alternatively, since it's a speed run, send Fournival to the gallows by letting him be found guilty. It's the one time it's actually advantageous to let him get ded - you won't need his stat boosters for Ur/Daemon grinding, afterall.
Hired Chari's NPC the first chance I got. She is demolishing everything. I'm like "calm down girl! I wanna hit stuff too!"
Chari is your pawn a mage/sorcerer as well?
Ranger
I have a 2nd PSN account where I'm building a min/max mage.
I plan on having her set up with Adept's Robe and Magnanimous Cloak for maximum awesome.
Also, tip for using my pawn... since she has a magnanimous cloak you should load her up on mushrooms/stamina curatives and healing items since when she uses them, the whole party gets the effect.
That's why I have her set up with a move that instantly drains all of her stamina. When this happens she'll spam stamina recovery items and you'll get a stam boost.
I hope I'm not going to regret picking Fighter and not Strider. My pawn is a Strider and well there's Rook. Oddly enough nobody on my psn has a mage pawn and Chari has the only pawn that uses a bow. I guess two bow pawns and one healer pawn is how we roll.
You can change you and your pawns class as often as you like (there's even cross class passives to use and encourage it). Though leveling up as different classes has different stat gains, if you level 1-50 on fighter and swap to a mage your m.atk will be lower than someone who did 1-50 as a mage. The difference shouldn't ever stop you from enjoying any class though.
Demo let me know what she's set up as if she's not a Sorcerer. I basically just use her as support at this point with how godly my main guy is. If you need her changed I can swap to whatever job you need. They are all maxed out.
Speaking of being godly... I basically solo'd Daimon 2.0 when I beat it.
Nigs got Vortexed near the start of his high DR phase and basically that's the actual fucking fight. Everything before that doesn't even matter.
Like... I don't really understand how dudes get legit stuck on this boss. 3 tries and I downed it without even farming gear in BBI.
