Tbh, our opinions are moot, don't have to like it; I know I don't but that's the truth. The site was here before us, and will be here after us. If you feel that strongly about it, just keep the shit you don't like in mind during donation time or just leave. That being said, what about this Incognito stuff? Haven't seen (read) too much about it here, but what do the few remaining survivors have to say about it? Is Martin being a chump, is Richie a bully, or is there some middle ground to be found in all of this?

Think it was moreso the beaten remark. I'm starting to think that it's on the level of the n and f words....which sucks cause nigga is part of my every day vocabulary and I can't even use it w/o worrying about getting infracted, we should just default to using "defeated" from now on.

Ironically we haven't talked much about Incognito, which is funny considering the recent rule changes and that he is pretty racist. The voicemail is very telling, hearing people read it aloud was uncomfortable since while we know there is some hazing in the NFL like carrying pads etc, I didn't think it was that bad. But alot of players are from the South which is pretty backwards still so then again I shouldn't be surprised. Idk if the parts about the dolphins coach asking him to toughen Martin up are true, or the part where Warren Sapp claims Incognito called him an N word are true. Only time will tell, but he's definitely alittle fucked.

It will get to the point where nobody will post in these types of threads. Yes she warned us, yes he poked again, but come on man. Banning for that is extreme. Like you said, it looks even worse that the Bannings just started suddenly in the the NFL thread. Then a rules change and avatar change to safe face. I dont know what happend in the NHL thread, but it must have been a shitstorm to have it bleed over into here.

the thing is... it seems completely normal for coaches to tell a veteran to get a young player to toughen up or fall in line. Incognito is not the best choice of person to do this

moot point though since last I hear, no coach told Incognito to toughen up Martin

I haven't read what was actually said to Martin(was the voicemain/text released to the public?), but the fact that the coaches were behind it made me think of A Few Good Men and getting a code red, I'd wait till I see what was actually said before I can comment on Martin and whether he's a pussy or not

Thats fucked up, I'll have to read it and see what was said exactly, but I mean verbal insults to a 300+lb man to me isn't enough to warrant walking out on your team, especially as a starter. You have different avenues to take in having a problem resolved, and to me one of them isn't walking out on teamates unless you actually felt your life was in jeopordy or something

I can't even post in half the forums here because if the reasonable mods don't post in a forum, they leave the modding to people that have no business being within a thousand miles of the words "reasonable" or "intelligent."

If you don't like it, you've pretty much got 3 choices:

1. Don't post at all
2. Post whatever the hell you want and get banned
3. Post within the rules, take your bans when you slip up, and laugh your ass off when they ask for money.

I mean, there's always the option of talking to the higher mods if you really think there's a huge problem, but I think most of us don't want to be that guy unless the shit is really a serious issue.


I hate to break it to you but Rhinox style posting, whether we're talking about the racist shit or not, has turned these threads from an overall entertaining place to talk about sports into a shithole with 1 decent post for every 50 pages of trash nobody gives a shit about but spam lovers find incredibly entertaining in the same way 2 year olds find sticking their tongue out at people to be the best thing ever.




The Incognito shit is exactly the same. Hazing is a thing, and can be fun and even occasionally hilarious. When it's him sitting around trying to find as many ways as possible to say the word nigger to a black guy that can't do anything about it, just because he thinks he's in an environment free from repurcussions, the shit's just retarded and needs to gtfo anyway.
