I'd doubt they want to divert resources from normal development to rush a porting job that they'd likely have to tone the game down to make work. It was always just wishful thinking because the two things happened to have nearby release dates.
Wow that's way sooner than I anticipated. I was thinking June at the absolute earliest since when companies say SPRING2017 they usually mean the end of spring, and you know not the very first day of it.

If you are a member of EA Access you will get a discount for pre-ordering from the XBL store. I believe it's a $7 discount on the standard edition and $10 discount on the deluxe edition.
BioWare GM Aaryn Flynn said on NeoGaf forums that XB1 version runs at 900p, PS4 version runs at 1080p, and both versions are capped at 30 fps. The PC version will be 1080p and have uncapped fps, so y'all master race folks have fun.
Interestingly he also said there will not be a season pass for DLC, but didn't elaborate. He said they will be revealing more info about DLC at a later date.
