Has it been 600 years since "The Shepard?"

Saying "humans from another galaxy" is redundant though. Like a frenchman in Paris saying those 'americans are from another country'.
Maybe it was just an oversight on their part and I'm reading too much into it.
My line of thinking (and playing into the 600 year gap) is that something delays your specific group, and by the time you arrive in Andromeda various other pathfinders have already at least partially colonized the galaxy.
Could also mean they have a species in Andromeda they refer to as "humans" and obviously we're different so they need to specify.
I wouldn't read too much into it. Likely just awkward writing.
Pretty much irrelevant at this point since it's likely poor writing but: there's a difference between "humans from another galaxy" and "they're humans, they're from another galaxy".
I don't think going to a zoo and saying "it's a lion from another continent" is entirely out of place. It's a bit clumsy, but it's a conceivable thing someone could say.
Anyone notice this logo similarity? @2:56

Forgot to mention the new race they showed off in that trailer looks pretty awesome.
You know in Mass Effect 3 I didn't touch multiplayer until the very end because I was so focused on single player ,I kind of regret that decision. I think I will start with multiplayer right out the gate on this one and then eventually do single player
Wat. Single player is the best part.
The multiplayer in 3 was really fucking good when it didn't have any right to be, but this series will always be about the single player experience.
I'm not ashamed to admit I sunk months into 3's MP to the point where SP was not only an afterthought but I was totally ambivalent about the ending complaints, both pre and post "adjustment". Salarian Infiltrator #1.
Like, the demo pre-release that had MP included, I played that right up to the point where it went down before the game launched. Amazing experience.
:\
Games like this I won't touch the MP until I'm done with the SP campaign because there are always assholes who will tell you spoilers during a match.
Originally I thought the same way, which is why I didn't bother with MP until before attack on Cerberus base. However once I did, I found I loved it and it added a whole new replay value to the game. I have no idea how hours sunk into SP vs MP compare, but I loved both. Equally excited for both in this game.
Multiplayer was the best part of 3 but that's mostly because the story was a total shitshow.
