I'm anticipating a $2.99 "Alternate Appearance Pack" for each squadmate just like ME2 and ME3 had.

I'd just like to take the time to appreciate the fact that my phone autocorrects confirmed to cunformed
Anyway I don't think expecting dragon age inquisition level customization was unreasonable. They managed to keep each character looking unique there and I will bet that mass effect will have less armor sets to worry about making models for than da:I, especially since da:I had way more party members
I'd say that armor doing effectively nothing was a design flaw to begin with
Why? Mass Effect isn't Dragon Age in Space. They don't want you doing inventory management so how are you going to modify squad loadouts with no gear dropping in the first place? Visit eighteen different shop kiosks to buy a bunch of one-time upgrades? What's the point?
On the contrary mass effect's roots are, in fact, in rpgs. The dumbing down over time to appeal to the dudebro demographic is being at least partially reverted in Andromeda, and it's a shame that squad members cannot be customized. Gear, whether crafted or found, will have stats again. Hopefully squad mates have some system that keeps them from growing too disparate compared to Ryder
You can say the "roots are in RPGs" but they very obviously tore up the roots and threw them on the bonfire before ME2. ME2 and ME3 are clearly superpower cover shooters and in both games your squad only exists to A) provide commentary on the situation at hand, and B) round out your super powers. You call it dumbing down, I call it streamlining. If I wanted to micromanage my inventory I'd play an actual RPG.
No reason ME couldn't be considered a "real rpg" tbh but whatever, my dude. They seem to be trying to cater to both the hardcore bioware (read: rpg/crpg fans) and action/shooter/set piece thriller players by making Ryder/Nomad/etc micromanage heavy and squad mates brain dead glorified environmental props

Game is install-able if you do download option and buy a code, FYI. Early access starts thur.
Mute the sound, dude's voice is annoying imo.
Supposedly there should be more hairstyles and options to pad the currently pretty lackluster ones in the day 1 patch
I hope we'll see a resurgence of http://www.masseffect2faces.com/ or the like in the coming weeks. I always enjoy seeing what other people make.
Looks like the game has customization uploading/importing.

I like how a fan creation already looks leagues better than the default one
I haven't been following the media about this too closely, do we already know what that "Customize Twin" thing is all about or nah?
I assume it's referring to your sibling.
Deluxe version worth it? Prime members get it for about $15 off and morning of launch day delivery.
Here's the soon to be live site about uploading character designs: https://masseffectarchives.com/en_US/
Also, on youtube there are videos out with CC for the twins.
Btw, has anyone found a 'confirmed' list of who is bangable romaneable by who?
If you're gonna play a lot of multiplayer I'd consider it. Otherwise I doubt it's worth the extra $10.
