think the biggest problem with these animation/"artistic" missteps comes down to this: I'm going to keep noticing them. it's going to take me out of the game every time I see a vacant dead creeper stare, a clicky animation transition, etc. a little bit more polish would've been appreciated. quite evident that ME:A was made by some offshoot team at Bioware and not the main AAA team.

the terrible dead facial animations make sense if you assume the Milky Way lost the war and all of the NPCs are indoctrinated drones sent to take over Andromeda :^]

It was made by a B Team. Bioware Montreal, who were previously mostly support for the main branch in Edmonton, made it. They had designed the multiplayer and Omega DLC in 3, but Andromeda is their first full release as a studio.

Black Widow is just as enjoyable as it has always been. Fun times all around.

Technical issues (I'm including the janky animations in with this) aside, I'm definitely enjoying the shit out of this game.

Just occurred to me we probably won't get the Javelin back in Multiplayer since no Geth. That's a bummer, I loved that gun.

Made it to the end of the SP trial in about five hours. Slooooow start but once you get The Tempest and to the first explorable planet and the game gets better. I really like the addition of the jet pack jump but I'm also not yet sold on platforming in a Mass Effect game.

Tried to start up the lesbian good times with Dr. Margaery Asari but she denied me. Oh well, the Irish science officer was a bit more receptive.

The consensus is "3 with jetpacks". So basically the same but better. Cover is a little different since it's automatic. Though I am wondering if cover grab takedowns made a return?

Is auto-cover as annoying as it sounds?
