Took me a minute to realize Suvi's voice actress is the same woman who did Cait's voice work in Fallout 4.

I take back prior statements about never really getting fps drops during combat, Havarl is a fucking shitstorm of lag spikes and overall shitty performance.
Got this neat sniper rifle in MP, the Lanat. Can charge shots for more damage. Only 2 shots before reloading but it's not a bad option before I unlock other more familiar snipers. My Krogan Engineer can hold it and a Phalanx and still keep 100% cooldown rate so that's nice.
Reload animations are so long in this game, feels like no real window to reload cancel, or it's so minor it barely matters.
Should be on Fri afternoon/night if ps4 peeps wanna play
Played around with the Black Widow in MP yesterday, love it so much. One-shotting the low tier enemies, 2-3 on the harder stuff (using invisibility for more damage on those). It also starts with 3 rounds, think it was only 1 in ME3? Reload isn't too bad either. Combining that with my Hurricane is making Bronze super easy.
Nah BW was always 3 rounds. Vanilla Widow should be 1.
Aside, pretty much all of the common (starter + Charger) weapons are pretty horrible, Katana shotgun especially so, but Charger has pretty crazy DPS. Spamming the 5k packs until you get Charger X and some repeats of starter classes gives you a nice headstart into Silver when you can start buying 20k packs after maxing most/all Commons.
...I say with my Salarian Infiltrator V.
It pierced in 3 though not as much as Widow. I hear in Andromeda it doesn't pierce at all though.
Idk why but I have this ultra rare shotgun. It's the only reason I won that Fiend fight on Eos. Blasted that fucker in the face.
Looks like the Krogan Warlord from ME3 will be joining MP in Andromeda tomorrow. Bioware teased a patch tomorrow with a gif of a Krogan swinging a giant hammer. Giddy.
Anyone tried this on the PS4 Pro?
Yeah I remember BW was ultra-rare. Widow was higher damage?
Also, you guys sticking to the same booster pack strategy as ME3? E.g. loading up on lowbie packs until you max out some basic stuff
I also read that when you get class upgrades now, which previously were aesthetic only, you get extra class points every two class upgrades. From the way it was written, if you had say a Human Adept X you could max out all of the abilities. Sounds OP so not sure if true
For now I'm just buying Premium packs because I want some of the cool guns/classes. Once I unlock some stuff I'll start grinding through lower tier packs to max everything out.
Black Widow has slightly lower damage & accuracy, and a bit higher weight to compensate for the larger clip.
Unless some extra weapons materialize it looks like BW is easily the best sniper in the game, same with most of the N7 weapons honestly. Honorable mention to the PAW rifle for bring back memories of the Collector Beam Rifle tho
I just finished the Havarl mission, made the vault work on the planet. Was I supposed to be able to settle a colony there like I did EOS?
The basic pack-buying strategy I see suggested is to buy the basic 5ks until you have a high ranked human you like and a Charger of high rank. Charger is easily the best of the starter-ish guns and these can help you jump into Silver more easily so you can start opening better boxes.
Some advocate spamming the 5ks until you completely max commons but that's a bit subjective.
Shotguns in general are not in a very good place right now. Damage feels really bad even right up in enemys' faces. Snipers are for the most part really good.
Ok that's what I remember, BW had its drawbacks compared to Widow.
When I finally unlocked BW in ME3 I couldn't make myself switch from Valiant. Valiant had a lightning quick reload and I believe a much higher ammo capacity. Could really pump out DPS
I'm curious to see how things like the Lanatt compare
