Edit : looked for and plainly missed previous post of the trailer. Deleting for the greater good. My mistake.
6Souls literally posted the same thing several posts above yours. Fuck you for wasting my time thinking it was a new trailer.
Doug Petrie & Elodie Yung on Elektrahttp://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansit...news/?a=130090DP: "We love the comics - we're fans - but, we wanted Elektra's costume to be reasonable for a martial artist and she's also a little bit of a stylist. There's definitely a costume, but it needs to happen organically like we saw on Daredevil."
EY: "We think Elektra is kind of a sociopath. This world is a game for her, like a chess game. What motivates her is what she wants. She'll use anything … to get to her goal. On the other hand, we wanted to create a character with different layers. I think Elektra is not a bad person. She's not a good person. She's a person with different traits."
Jon Bernthal on Punisherhttp://comicbook.com/2016/01/16/jon-...-whole-new-pl/He’s a guy who brought the war home with him [in] the worst possible way.
There are a lot of iterations of this character and in all of them it’s a man who’s gone through this unbelievable trauma and what’s interesting about our take on him is how this trauma reshapes his own philosophy.
I think once you see these characters collide, it’s tremendously interesting and emotionally gripping as well. It’s going to be a special season. If you thought last season of Daredevil was dark, we’re going to a whole new place.
So the Punisher is Red Batman's Joker?
(reference to "one bad day away from being me")
This looks pretty exciting.
bernthal killing it
Oh. Now that was done well. Don't even think I'll binge this. Gotta savor every episode.
I would like to see Netflix do a modified release schedule just to see how it goes. Not once a week, maybe M/W/F or even one each day. Something that gives a little bit of time for people to discuss and analyze each episode if they're caught up like a traditional TV show, but doesn't leave you hanging for a full season length. Also would slightly prevent spoiler trolling from the people who can sit for 12 straight hours on release day.
It's a toss up really. On one hand it's good and really milks not only the show but the services Netflix offers in general (which isn't a bad thing at all). On the other hand, the internet will always spoil something if you're not paying attention plus I personally hate waiting for my girlfriend to get the interest to watch these shows with me. Took her a good month to sit her ass down and watch JJ. Never again.
I am hype.
Some more episodic shows a modified schedule would make sense. But the Marvel series are like 13 hour movies
Lol yeah I definitely prefer the entire season drop. While it does suck to have to wait for what feels like forever i do enjoy being able to binge watch. If only DC animated department could get on with dropping a movie every 4-6 weeks

I did a 2 episodes per day schedule for DD and JJ. If you can sit through 13 hours without missing a shitload of minor details, you're some sort of concentration god.
IMO the best release schedule for these would be over three consecutive weekends. A large percentage of viewers would be able to "keep current" without having to binge in a single weekend. That would still give time for there to meaningful discussion and speculation but not at the snails pace of one a week.
For DD I did 3 days of about 3-5 episodes depending on wife's mood and for JJ I knocked out in 2 days while she was at a conference. I don't have perfect memory by far but I've always been good at catching little things to the point where I absolute cannot watch dramas or suspense movies more than once. Which she hates.

For DD I thought I'd try the first episode on the Friday. I didn't immediately latch onto it and continued watching the rest the next day, not anticipating the fact that I'd be gripped and end up watching them all on the Saturday. I loved the first season but I might drag out this next season so it's not over so quickly.
With JJ I wasn't hooked in the same way and ended up taking a week to watch the whole season. I easily avoided any major spoilers, but I don't think I could for too long with DD.
