Well remember MCU Hell's Kitchen got blown the fuck up during Avengers, so it's a convenient excuse for everything to look different.
Just finished. Fantastic. Now I wish I had more - sooooo good.
I don't care if didn't look exactly like Hell's Kitchen of modern day, but at least label subway stations properly lol
Also, remember that when Daredevil first was written it was the rise of the 70s era New York City. Things were pretty bleak.

Finished it today, loved every moment of it. I'm excited for Marvel's future Netflix shows and hope it'll convince them to bring some more characters to their own series that aren't quite blockbuster movie material.
They said if it does well enough it'll get an MCU movie. Would love to see this DD in Avengers or Civil War or whatever.
