I'm really not feeling this series so far. A large part of it is that I genuinely don't care about Jessica Jones. Never have. I like Krysten Ritter so I was hoping she'd make the character a bit more appealing. But as of so far, nothing. Kilgrave is a bad ass but he was in the comics as well. I love David Tennant so seeing him as a lunatic is highly entertaining.

I didn't like the show until episode 4ish. It's really slow imo, and kind of annoying how easily these supers can solve a lot of problems but don't.

Originally implied was 1 season of the original 4 shows, then Defenders. Daredevil Season 2 was an upset. Now if one doesn't get green lit for season 2 before defenders, would it be viewed as a failure in comparison?

I think calling Daredevil S2 an "upset" is a bit overzealous. It's pretty obvious it was built from the ground up with the expectation of it continuing.

Just finished the series. Really enjoyable and hell of a lot different than Daredevil. Few minor complaints with the main antagonist's power and other random tidbits but that's about it.

Season really picks up after Kilgrave is completely involved around EP06 or so. The dude who plays him really knocks it out the fucking park. Before that I can understand the complaints of everything being so dull and boring. Also, why do people keep saying Hells Kitchen in the show, but most of this shit seems to occur in lower east Manhattan? Annoying as hell for anyone from New York lmao. Same shit in DD.
