Season 2 Synopsis

Season 2 furthers the transformation of Danny, a character with a fish out of water coming of age story making his way in a harsh new world, battling to work out who he is. This season, Danny has promised that with Matt Murdock gone, he will step up and protect his city. But a sinister plot twist threatens his very identity and he must conquer his villains to protect the town and people he holds close to his heart.

I thought for sure Typhoid Mary would be the villain for Jessica Jones season 2 and then that ended up not even having a villain, sans a cameo from the Ringmaster.

is there a preferred order for watching these? i've seen s1 of jessica jones and have started s1 daredevil, and i only know the 4 come together in defenders but that's it.

I would recommend going with the order they were released in, but all in all it doesn't make a huge difference. So: DD S1, JJ S1, DD S2, LC S1, IF S1, Defenders S1, The Punisher S1, JJ S2, LC S2

Keep in mind that DD2 is actually direct set up for Defenders so it's not skippable if you just want to introduce yourself to each character and go.

If Luke Cage Season 2 had been 10 instead of 13 I would've ranked it higher (DD1-Punisher-DD2-JJ-JJ2=LC2-LC1-Defenders-IF1) so this is potentially good news.

A tighter scripted Luke Cage season 2 would definitely put it above season 2 of Jessica Jones for me.
