He's gotta be able to be stunned. War's getting a 10 second cooldown reduction on our stun!
Also, I'm still trying to wrap my head around the CT random decision. I feel like its another instance of the raise-cutscene lag being "intended" as a cover for "we never could figure out how to have a pretty -rise up- animation while not having it lag horribly". They couldn't figure out how allow a group of 3 parties to enter the same dungeon together in time for the 2.1 update, so we get another ham-fisted, face-saving defense of the team's incompetence with a cryptic "its intended, yet we'll work on allowing you to take the logical, sensible approach in a later update", AKA. "we couldn't figure it out yet, but we'll cover our programmer's asses in the meantime".
Its like a NFL commissioner's office fining a player for an "illegal" hit on another player, even when the replay showed it was perfectly legal, simply to "protect" the integrity of the ref who made the bad call during the game. Baseball does this shit as well, and its infuriating.
You don't have to throw your team under the bus, SE, but for Christ sakes, tell the truth to your players who pay you each month. There's nothing wrong with "we couldn't figure out how to get it done in time, but it IS coming" messages! Blizzard throws these out all the time!
Simple answer: The way to make an alliance (or multi-group DF queue) isn't implemented yet, so they had three options.
1) Don't release Crystal Tower in 2.1
2) Delay 2.1 until alliance/multi-party DF queue was finished
3) Cap CT DF entries at 8 people
Now, obviously it's bullshit that they didn't finish that in time, but given the fact that they didn't, I think they chose the least-worst option. Some additional clarity would be nice, like you mention in your ending blurb there, but these initial QA summaries are always extremely short and missing a lot of info.
It's also possible that instead of using the much-maligned timed lockouts, they decided to limit CT content spam by making the alliance composition 66% randoms.
If people could bring 24 geared players on TS, then they would. If the content is balanced for random PUGs, a coordinated alliance will shred it. You would have to deal with stuff like 2 tanks + 2 heals + 20 DDs.
Clarity makes just about everything better. At the very least, clarity allows for those who continue to complain to be ousted as true whiners. With SE's history of deflecting personal blame to anyone they can (War is fine; you're doing it wrong.) (Raise is fine; working as intended), only to go back and patch things later, I can't really fault anyone who complains about shit that could have been smoothed over with some personal responsibility on the part of SE.
@SD: That's certainly a possibility, and I wouldn't exactly get hostile about it if that were the reason. If they had EXPLAINED that, however, I think you'd once again, be seeing a lot less rancor. After all, the less someone explains about a situation, the more everyone else will attempt to fill in the blanks on their own. That's how fucking mob riots get started, lol.
Its just irresponsible for a company in 2013 who wants to presumably stay at 1.5mil subs. I don't see them holding that amount with all these deflections and issues.
I dont see why people get so upset about Moogle weapons being better than relics. The relic weapons arnt relics, they more of AF weapons and they already fucking said that. Quit acting like you collected currency for 2 years and they just gimped your Aegis with a patch after you got it. You can get relic in XIV in 4 hours. Anyways, you can turn your stupid relic into +1 which is still better than Moogle weapon. You cant turn Moogle weapon into +1 Moogle weapon. Also, if CT has weapon it will be probably better than Moogle weapon and worse than +1 relic.
CT/Moogle should both be iLv80, so they're probably pretty on-par with each other. At that point, it always comes down to secondary stats, so that'll vary per job. I'll be very curious to see if the +crit on iLv80 Moogle bow actually beats the +1DMG & 4DEX on the Relic+1 (probably not, but it should still at least beat NQ relic). I look forward to returning to using the bow that kupos.

Do one DF Titan at the start of your day, rejoice as it won't get any worse.
I am also a connoisseur of Duty Finder Titans. I collect them. The prize of my collection is this vintage "Both healers get knocked off by the first Landslide of the fight."
