It still should have been a holding call, which would have the Patriots a second shot a few more yards down the field. But even then, obviously no guarantee the pats win.

Officials generally let hail marys at the end of the game just play out, if they never thru the flag to begin with no one would be complaining. OK well, some. But not as vocal.

If there was no flag thrown at all it wouldn't have been much of an issue, the flag being thrown and picked up made shit way worse. There's always shit like that on the final plays of the game, its nothing new. Yeah, something should have been called, but a no-call isn't unusual. The refs determined the ball was "uncatchable" which by rule wasn't true, it would have needed to be aired over the endzone for that to stick. A hold would have put them a little closer than they were and the ball being catchable or not had nothing to do with anything on a hold. If they called a PI they woulda been at like the 1, but neither instance guarantees them a victory anyway so people should just get over it. One more play would have been good for the fans on MNF, but we'd probably have had the same outcome anyway.

Can't say enough about Cam right now. His poise and decision-making last night was remarkable. Watching him read the defense and make a break for it is one of the most satisfying things.

Also, dat O-line. I don't know about individual talent, but what I saw last night was teamwork. They moved the pocket seamlessly to buy Cam more time and set him up for runs if needed. It was really sharp.

This is the healthiest the Patriots offense has been all year and they were held to 20.
