Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

The cursed Spaniards that looked and acted like the crawler things from The Descent movie. The second encounter where you're by yourself underground trying to turn on the generator was the worst. I was just running in circles saying "oh god, oh god..." to myself repeatedly. The camera moves too slow to react to something right behind you. I'm also a huge wimp and hate scary things haha.

There are enemies like that in 2 and 3 as well, but fewer of them. 4 doesn't have any.

Just got to chapter 17, game is UC2 level, loving the hell out of it and echoing it's stunning, blows away everything we have seen on the PS4.

Beat this last night. Best Uncharted ever. I don't think I've ever seen graphics as important until I played this game. Because the visuals are sooo good you're actually able to find the mind-numbing climbing enjoyable. I first realized this when I was in the underground cavern in Ireland iirc. I was stupefied by the beauty. I actually felt immersed in it. Loved the boss fight (and Rafe (love to hate)). Finally a realistic fight w/o bs. Also lol at trophy based on the E3 fail.

Who needs a PS4 neo when games look like this. Also I'm not used to 60fps games (makes me feel semi-nausea) but this game didn't do that to me. IMO PS4 MGSGZ (haven't tried MGSV) looks terrible because of this. It looks fake. Maybe I'll try it again to see if it has changed (someone told me I'm suppose to get used to it). Maybe Uncharted 4 runs somewhere in between 30-60, 45 maybe?

Seriously if you haven't played it. Play it. A must for any PS4 owner.

Yeah you're right I just looked it up. Apparently according to Naughty Dog 60fps was very difficult.

I finally finished this on Friday.

I decided this time not to 100% the game, which is kind of a shame since they brought back all the fun unlockables from 1+2 that they decided to ditch in 3 because they were being anti-fun jerkoffs.

Took my time and glad that I did; very satisfying conclusion to the series and glad I didn't get anything spoiled for me. I think I can safely say it's my favorite in the entire series.

I really don't want to have to buy the DLC "pack" just for the extra single player content; anyone know if it's going to come out separately? I have no interest in playing the multiplayer since Sony started charging for it's online service.

I would be surprised if it wasn't sold separately. It should be like any piece of DLC and when it's released have its own price tag.

Is the single player stuff actually out or can you just buy it now? Everything I've read just talks about it coming in the big $25 bundle.

Also; if they ever make a live action Uncharted, Ken Marino needs to play Drake. I've always thought there was a resemblance but I think he looks more like Drake in U4 than Nathan Fillion now.

It really makes me wonder what the original script looked like before the dev team imploded.

Final boss started out epic but the constant one shots and the fact the fight went on for so long ruined any enjoyment for me by the time he was dead.

HDR/PS4 Pro patch is out.

HDR looks straight up fantastic, along with Infamous definitely the best implementation shown so far.

Late, but the problem was that you didn't see the mechanics until that point. They needed to have at least one fight before then to train you. It looks like they planned to, but cut it for some reason.
