We should really start adding nuance into discussions of "hard" or "difficult." Beating a boss who does random shit? Hard. Beating a boss with a set rotation that you have to memorize? Hard in a different way. Dodging Titan landslides on spotty Australian dial-up? Hard. Beating T9 with perfect ping? Hard in a different way.

What the fuck is wrong with these people? There's some retards here who actually think that first-time bonus entitles someone to insist on being able to watch every cutscene and be present inside every boss battle. Who even kicks these people to begin with? I'd be fucking annoyed enough to boot them too if they're (probably..) taking a lifetime with the initial cutscene. That said, when I still bothered with it, i've never seen anyone even attempt to kick for watching cutscenes; no one even seemed to give a shit.

I fucking feel sorry for anyone who actually does Main Story Roulette with these self-righteous idiots present.

vote kick people for watching CS seem to be ok for most peeps on that end of the world huh lol

the only vote kick we have here is if someone dc for 5 mins. If we met people who watch cs etc its just our luck and deal with it

the last time i did prae, we even let first timer play with magitek throughout while we just run on foot

On a tangential note, how do JP players "deal with" gimp/confused/wtf players in DF dungeons? Like the DRG who only knows the 123 combo, the SMN who's wearing MND gear, the BLM mashing random buttons and using Flare in UI1, etc?

I forgot, there was a JP thread a while back on OF I think where they said that they'd just leave the instance, disband, then reform because they were taught not to publicly shame something for being bad.

Well no fucking shit people didn't get kicked from the non existent duty finder in 1.0. I give them bonus points for quickly blaming the "WoW mentality", when it's not even an issue there.

i have met some really shit players as well in early days. i told him off, like a NA would normally cos he was doing ONLY 1 WS, like rage of harlone onry. i was pretty pissed too

my FC japanese mate told me to "not bother too much, its a DF we have to accept it" and told the guy how to play properly VERY POLITELY

we still wipe a few times, take a long time but thats what you get for DF and i learnt that since

if you dont wanna have a slight chance to handle these people, dont use DF....

this is true. I have been learning JP for 2+ years now part-time. Somethings they do is really "wtf" for example if your neighbour is VERY VERY NOISY throwing a party and you are studying, you feel extremely annoyed etc etc and wanna punch someone inside. But when you go to the neighbour, you would go "im very sorry to trouble you. excuse me, but could you please lower down the volume?" /bow etc etc

seriously wtf lol i asked my teacher. My teacher said, you never scold someone you dont know and treat everyone like they made a honest mistake and will return you a favor. the only time you see people talk crap/trash is only in anime/manga/drama.

Talking to friends, colleague, boss, family have all different set of grammar and vocabs
