On the CM/Prae speedrunning issue, skipping is the standard practice, why aren't they adjusted yet? I don't even remember the cutscenes but I'm sure they're all pointless besides Gaius and Nero, which I bet could be made faster or have the character talk during battle.

And as previously said, when you go on the storyline roulette, you "chose" to give your time to the new players who may need it as its what DF story roulette was made for, its a rewarded charity and people still complain about it, thus making my argument totaly valid. On top SE also allow you to queue with 3 other friends for some roulette and still give you said rewards, thinking bout that who's the special snowflake?

I just try to give you new perspectives, now you can take them or leave them, but don't insult them because you can't understand them, that would just make you a backward idiot such as those from the 40's-50's who were scared of skin colors or disabled people.

So what happens when one person insists on being allowed to watch cutscenes and makes an OF thread complaining about the fact that seven other people didn't? Surely you see that one person is assuming their time/money is more valuable than anyone else's.

It's not as cut and dry as you think. Sure, people might try to "speedrun" Castrum and Prae because that's been how it's worked for over a year. In return, the people who bitch and complain about not being allowed to watch cutscenes or getting left out turn downright fucking volatile over a cutscene in a video game. There might be some merit to what you're saying about not taking it seriously, but I think you've got it pointed in the wrong direction.

This is dumb. Changing your example to getting the weekly playboy (OMG so impolite!) at the nearest newspaper shop doesn't make it any less dumb.

Stop comparing game and RL. Some people go slow in RL too. Some people want to go fast in the game, because thats more fun for them. You dont get to decide what people like, or how they should act.
