Some guy tried to claim you could only get bluebird (tonberry? some minion) from maps obtained by mining and asked for confirmation.

Specifically, someone wanted to know if you could only obtain pets through maps you mined yourself. Complete with confirmation. And when people said "There's no way for the game to track that" we were met with "BUT YOU DON'T KNOW IT CAN'T DO EITHER POST PROOF OR SHUT UP." It quickly got modded and deleted/cleaned up but needless to say, we had a field day with ONLY POSTING PROOF that FACING THE MOON WHILE CHANGING TO A LEVEL 1 JOB DURING THE FULL MOON etcetera. Because YOU JUST DON'T KNOW.

Unrelated tangent: Boarskin maps for a year, missed maybe a dozen gathers because of whatever: 2 total tonberries. AND I MINED THEM MYSELF.

this... this is an intentional troll post, right?

thank god I haven't run into any of these people yet. SCH low-level duty roulettes you're a bad player if you don't DPS, as long as you're careful about bosses/large pulls and make healing a priority when necessary (which is not often). idk about later on; I'm only as far as Haukke Manor right now.

I may have met that guys' cousin in expert DF once. A drg that can't dodge for shit, passive aggressive about cures (for damage he takes cause he can't dodge for shit), and all around sub-par dps.

People need to understand that the legacy mark is like a brand to forever show others how dirty and terrible we are for being tainted by 1.0, it's not a good thing.
