Square Enix, you guys really should put more resources into hack prevention because its costing you money, and a lot of it.

P.S. I know hacking happens in EVERY game, just not on this scale.

Apparently this same genius made a thread raging about an endgame he didn't even reach. lol

The rules I put into place to be a part of the core will ensure not everyone has a desire to be in the core. Being outside the core group gives you leeway but also wont give you a dedicated spot until the core has everything they need.

I have led worlds best guilds before*, this comes down to a guild leading rule set. How good is your administration?

Whether you're in combat or not is entirely based on whether there's something on your hate list. Sheathe/unsheathe does nothing.

I did find it amusing that logging out and back in still kept stuff on his hate list.

When engaging most bosses everyone in the party is automatically added to the hate list.

It didn't used to work like that for all bosses, idk if they went back and fixed it so that it does (iirc Twin worked like that and it was one way you could exploit the fight).

All I remember were the clusterfuck of people fishing in the desert village (Forgot the name...) for rusty gear and then the 1 mile line of fish bots fishing off the coast of Quifim Isle since that was the only place there weren't those goblin scouts.

N.B. As a sidenote, you will most likely have the real Gil BUYERS do the same thing and go in to busy status.... THEY dont want you knowing who they are, and if you DO see people not in busy status hanging around, whisper them, and ask them to busy themselves, unless of course, they ARE buying Gil. (Make no mistake, the buyers are the reason RMT agents exist.)

The RMT agents will have their chat box filled with so much macro spam the second they send their RMT crap out world wide, we may just eliminate the second round of their spam - imagine just 2 or 3 people doing that with huge macros at the same time - what a f...ing huge mess on their screens.

It's ineffective as someone pointed out in that thread. Spamming them back will just make them create a new character. An endless loop of macro spamming that will achieve nothing.
Reporting is really the only "defense" we have against them.

Also 90% of FFXIV playerbase will be banned because not /busy apparently means you buy gil.
