I had no idea Miasma II was a wide, ranged AoE that also binds.
I should really take another look at the description.

why would bind matter
or are we confused by saying "bind" instead of heavy+100% rendering monsters immobile
also the douchebag in the snow haircut (that's about as far as i got) saying WE'D NEVER TREAT YOU THAT WAY ON MY SERVER makes me think he's trying to get that epussy
I'm sorry, I can't stop thinking of someone flaring a Renaud...
I pretty much disable my Circle of Scorn macro in T7 because of giants.
Not OF (but probably just as bad, or worse), but lol: http://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/commen...on_first_shot/
Reddit circlejerking over how kicking people for low DPS should be bannable.
Christ.
That stands at -69, while this is at +39.Just imagine that OP's "with ease" doesn't actually mean the fight was easy, and for people used to farming it that it was an awful attempt. Awful as in no phases pushed, every shield barely being enough, stuff like that. Now yeah, they might have parsed, top DPS being 300, and then OP, or second highest at like 150. I'd kick them too for higher dps to make the rest of the farming smoother. People who don't like that people do this just need to learn how to play better so they don't get kicked in the future. And for the butt hurt bad players who can't play well and always have low DPS that want all the people who parse banned, I use excuses like, whole party was disbanded, or cat is on fire, had to leave, when people ask why they were kicked.
This angers me.People like you can you please leave this game. Final Fantasy is not for you.
How dare someone expect people to have a fucking clue?I don't wanna make fun of you because you might actually have autism.
Edit: It reads a lot smoother if you read every whining post as "BUT IT'S MY 12.95" because that's all that's happening here.
+66 to the comment saying to report for parsing.

People and Internet bragging
Bad tanks justify being bad.Tanks have an awful lot of power in dungeons. I've been having the same issue. I may end up starting a dungeon with "You claim it, you tank it". If they claim stuff, kindly tell them to stop. If they blow me off, I refuse to take the mobs off them. Remember: (no one wants to hear this, but it's true) DPS are expendable, Tanks and healers aren't. You will have no issues finding a replacement DPS if they continue to harass you like that.

Terrible. "If they harass you" lol.
Same thread. I can no longer see the line between satire and seriousness.
Holding mobs and mitigating damage is only one part of being a successful tank. The other part (and arguably equally important) is keeping the DPS obedient and submissive. Always make sure you take a moment to establish dominance before the first pull whenever you're partying with DPS that you don't know. Otherwise, you risk running into problems where they'll start doing things on their own. When dominance is successfully established they'll let you lead, make all the pulls, and focus-fire on your marked targets. This really needs to be written into all the tanking guides too, but I can understand why people would be hesitant to include it.My biggest problem when it comes to this are the healers who keep healing the problematic damage-dealers. Most of the time I ask them not to heal the damage-dealers when they do that, and to let them die, they reply with something like, "ugh, can we just get through this dungeon?" and keep on healing. At that point I just tell them they need to find another tank, and leave the duty.

That's fantastic.
Oh man, I was in this PT yesterday. The leader kept booting perfectly serviceable DPS - no slip-offs, no deaths - because his parser told him to. The ironic thing was we were clearing Levi in <10m and it took 10m to find replacements after every round.
I don't think the dude even wanted a mirror. Think he was just being a dick.
I really want troll the OF and post that tanks are only there to serve as meat shields for the DPS, that they should be made to work like the inferior dogs/servants/slaves they are for the benefit of the superior DPS race classes, that any tank that can't hold hate off a Raging Striked, quadri-Flaring BLM is an unforgivable drain on the community and deserves to die in a fire, etc.Holding mobs and mitigating damage is only one part of being a successful tank. But I won't, because I'm lazy and lunch hour is short.
Saw this yesterday and said to myself "Interesting phrasing" which is more like "what the fuck is this shit?"Holding mobs and mitigating damage is only one part of being a successful tank. So pro. I'd love to see that person tank something more serious than low lvl dungeons.olding mobs and mitigating damage is only one part of being a successful tank. yeah, that shit is a troll attempt especially considering the thread that spawned the comment
