Can you have more than one romantic partner? I want to go gay with MacGready to get his perk but not sure if Piper will hate me for cheating on her or I'll lose her perk or something lol
So what the fuck, I got one of my settlements attacked, but by the time I fast traveled there, the army of machine gun turrets already killed all the attackers. I didn't get to attack any raiders, so I didn't get the help settlement credit for the miscellaneous quest and now if I fast travel out of there the quest failed automatically and I lose like 8 people, even though technically the attack is over and there is no more raiders to kill.
Level 4 and I run into Trashcan Carla at night. Buy some crap and I can see a Glowing One and ghoul pack down the road. Lure them in and use my only two grenades and watch as they go after the npc as I pick them off lol. Still had to load up previous saves a couple of times.
Finally found all the picket fence magazines. Time to build a grand hotel with lion statues everywhere and plants that aren't dead! Now to decide on a location...

yeah... i actually did this last night and i got to 51 power and gave up thinking it was a bug. kinda crazy how much more it actually does requires.
alsoooo, kinda big ammo thing i read about today. apparently if you pick up the gun on the ground (not from the body) you get the clip in addition to whatever you later take off the body. so make sure when you guys loot, loot gun first then body for that extra clip.
On the subject of generators. Has anyone had problems with water from the large water purifiers cutting off randomly, and the back on? I have something like 89 water at spectacle island and it keeps dropping to zero at times. Both of the water sources have their own dedicated generator connected to only them. I assign npcs to them to see if that helped, but nothing.
Just ran into a Legendary Deathclaw south of the Boston Mayoral Shelter, which was the killed by a Behemoth. Then I died.
So you went for the exploration route? I got to lvl7 before I went to be just building shit in Sanctuary.
lv37, 2 more lvl till gun nut lv4 yeee boi
Finally managed to play for the first time; this game is a damn black hole consuming all free time. I got past the first boss fight and went to Sanctuary with the folks. Started messing with the hide out, making wells, powering stuff up, moving things around, etc. and I looked up to see 2-3 hours had gone by haha.
And am I missing some aspect of fighting in the power armor? First Deathclaw, I dropped down and was mini-gunning him, he charged, I ran, kept trying to kite>shoot, but he was always right on top of me. Ended up dying once, then killing all the vandals, going back to the roof, shooting him, then dropping down when he was low to flush him out of hiding and kill him.
The deathclaw I just unloaded on with the minigun until he was dead. Didn't have to kite or anything. Took a few hits to the face myself.
On higher difficulties you have to play it like a complete pansy and take advantage of how the deathclaw can't enter the doorways.
I've spent like 3 hours on the game and 7 hours on building.
No fucking edge grab for walls on new floors is making my head hurt.
I want a top down option for building. Having to figure out elevation from 1st and 3rd person really sucks.
So I did the quest in Vault 81 and...Spoiler: show
These is usually a console command for the PC version that could help bypass that.
