I feel so conflicted;

Just met the "kid" for the first time, and he wants me to join with him and the Institute, but I've done some stuff with the BHoS and the Railroad. They all seem on the extreme ends of each spectrum and can't decide who I want to sign on with. I feel like the the kid is the leader of a cult or some shit, and thats just creepy. BHoS guys want to kill everything not human, but I'm cool with non feral ghouls. The Railroad I identify more with because of how some of the synths are, plus I liked EDI in ME2-3 so kinda have a soft spot for the self aware robots. So might be going with the Railroad now.

Since we got into a discussion of mods/graphics, if anyone is wondering what HBAO looks like added to the game (There's also a little bit of saturation tweaking going on with my Reshade, mostly worry about the shading)

As you can see around the edges of the armor it's a little funky atm, but adds good depth to faces and the environment

This is my current list, all of these pulled from the Nexus. Not all of them are strictly graphical in nature (Armorsmith, Lowered Weapons, Full Dialogue Interface). The ones not highlighted are still installed, I just did them manually because the Mod Manager was being stupid.



I would 100% recommend the lighting ones, i.e. Fogout, Legendary Lamps, Realistic Lights. They make everything look way better and actually make using your pipboy light/power armor headlights necessary.

Ok. Let's just say I'm really bad at Fallout games, but would like to get into them. Is there anything improved in FO4 that would make it more universally playable? I wasn't very good with the VATS targeting, but somebody told me that I don't even need to use it. I kinda gave up on Vegas because I got to a point where I needed an item that I didn't pick up and didn't know how rare it was in the game. I mean, I'm sure it's playable - I just didn't immediately grasp the game.

One of my settlements was attacked by Super Mutants. I repelled them, but they managed to kill one of my settlers. I checked the settler's corpse for loot and it turns out he was a Synth. God damn lol

Any reason why I can't seem to get people to join settlements? I've got recruitment beacons set up and powered on, plenty of food, water, defense, and beds. Can't seem to get more than 15 at most farms and only 6 so far at The Castle.

I send my recruits to the bigger settlements, Sanctuary is full as hell and the Castle is filling up too. Started building on that Spectacle Island as well. Only 5 people for right now.

Both were buggy piles of shit. Both were amazing experiences of near-pure freedom. I fully understand that when it comes to programming, the lower the linearity of a game, the higher the number of bugs in it.

I'll just do what I always do and:

A) Buy it for PC to let the players fix what the devs never had time to.
B) Buy it months after launch to immediately play a relatively bug-free experience.

Indeed. But what would console guyz do despite deal with all the bugs and play what devs has delivered. Fallout 4 do looks amazing though and reviews are just saying that game is amazing to play but many bugs and glitches have been reported. So I would wait for devs to work on bugs and buy game later but I have to buy on PS4 because my PC cant even run Dying light
