Gave what I could spare. I sincerely hope it helps his family. There's nothing worse than losing a loved one only to be hit with the double whammy of financial hardship.
Sent $100 their way, least I could do.
Sent in what I could.
I wished for a long time now for the science thread to crop back up. Very much enjoyed reading Woozie, Tyven and Miz. It gave me a more harmonious place to go to on this board. Threads of that nature will never be the same without Woozie. My heart goes out to his family.
Thanks for the link and keeping the thread update don the proceedings, happy to donate to the cause.
Should dedicate him a new Subforum in his name, for science, technology, and education!
Doing this from my phone, so hope it posts right. But this is a post from his mother in response to all of the love from Woozie's BG family. Keep up the great work guys and a million thank yous to the admin team! Really appreciate it.

She found her way to this very thread and was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support.
God bless you and your family, Mrs. Gibson. Our prayers are with you, and we're so thankful to have been able to know your son.

Someone not nearly as smart as Woozie.
hopefully what little we can give helps out.
I've always found myself to be overly empathetic (to a fault), but reading through this thread has thoroughly incapacitated my ability to do anything right now. I didn't have any personal connection to him and yet I somehow still miss him deeply. I'm at work, and I should be working, and everything just feels trivial, and just...damn.
I'm glad this community can be there for his family and loved ones and help out in some small way, and I hope that he knew, and knows, the love that BG has for him.
This is how i feel on the subject. I didn't know him personally, nor do i believe i had any direct interactions with him here on the forums. Still, reading over this thread, hearing the stories, seeing how everyone misses him, and knowing how he affected me... It hits me. Visited and read this thread many times over, been trying to avoid posting or accepting it.. because I personally hate death... the whole idea of it, the whole feeling of absence it creates... But I should get my words in, and trying to ignore it would only be an insult to him...
While I didn't know him on a personal level, I too, enjoyed his posts. He spoke with such excitement and knowledge for the topics, math, science, and the like.. It was enough to inspire anyone, and it did inspire me. He is truthfully one of the main driving reasons behind my decision to go to college. I hoped that one day, If i studied enough, if i tried hard, I might be able to speak with even half of the excitement and knowledge as he did.
I'm never good with words, but I try my best when I know its needed and deserved, and I can't think of anyone who deserves that more than him. I hate thinking how things could have been different... If he had known how much hes affected all of us, if he had known how much we appreciated him... Maybe he'd be following up with a "Thank you all". But wishing won't make it so, and I've accepted this loss. I hope you guys are staying strong through this. He will be missed by us, he was loved by us, and you truly don't know how much someone affected you until you realize they're gone.
I'm going to donate what i can. Very sorry to those closer to him... stay strong.
RIP woozie, hate to see people go. This forum has become a second family to me, and seeing people pass here does hurt. My condolences to his family.
Just saw this. Fuck. That sucks. RIP Woozie.
RIP Woozie. While I did not know you on a personal scale, I was able to enjoy your posts and the knowledge you shared. May your loved ones find the support they need during this difficult time.
