I didn't do that. But I am thinking about getting this. Did not really play A Link To The Past tho I think I have it for my GBA; I'll prolly go and do that before I play it and I need to save up for it anyway, but a Nintendo system isn't a nintendo system without a Zelda; also this one sounds pretty fun. ^^

Just finished up, gotta say..

This game reminds me why I started playing video games. Right down to the last minute, incredible game. I feel like that was worth every penny and more, for the first time in a long time.

Finally finished the game as well, got everything except 2 heart containers. All the feels during those last scenes were just.. man. I absolutely loved this game from start to finish, I hope they listen to fans and make the next game a lot more challenging.

My buddy let me borrow Ocarina of Time 3D, since he beat it already I can start with Master Quest. I played the original a long time ago, vaguely remember it, so this is gonna be a nice challenge for me.

Gotta read what I said carefully, he beat the game and it unlocked it, I am borrowing it and starting a new game with Master Quest heh. I am tripping out hard right now, just smoked and realized that everything is literally backwards. (In the game lol)

I still have nightmares about playing Master Quest... hands down some of the most frustrating puzzles and longest dungeons of any Zelda game. Shadow Temple makes me want to rip my hair out, and this is coming from someone who has played and 100% nearly every single Zelda game. Although, you will love it.

Do you needed to have finished the original LTTP to understand wtf is going on in this game? Never got around to finishing back in the day (think I got as far as some desert dungeon).

Not really. The connection is basically that the world map is the same.

That said, you really should finish LttP..

So I remember reading somewhere that launch copies got a special edition cover or something. Is there any truth to this? I want to order it online, but also would like to get the nicer cover (if there is one).

Probably referencing the golden tint, I am unsure if NA versions are reversible though, I would have to check my friends copy but he has the golden one.

Apparently European versions are reversible between the two, as for me I got the bundle, it did not come with a physical copy of the game (whyyyyyyy?).

Mine is not reversible. I got mine at the Gamestop XBONE midnight launch.

I have a gold one. Bought it from Amazon right after Christmas. Not sure if special edition, but if it is then it's a pretty common special edition if I was able to get one that late. It isn't reversible.
