I am retarded and about to buy Persona 5 for the 4th time because P5 Royal doesn’t have a free PS4 to PS5 upgrade, but it’s on sale for $23 now on PSN.

I understand this is supposed to be a gatcha game rather than like a persona 5 sequel but like…how does that work on mobile devices? Seems like it would be very cumbersome without controller or mouse/keyboard support

There is controller support supposedly. Other than that, it's a turn based game, so other than running around the map it shouldn't be too annoying to deal with. People manage to play action RPGs on mobile, although I personally do find it cumbersome, yeah.

That is a LOT less info/footage shown compared to the P3 Reload reveal. They don’t have a release date or even a year listed. Makes me think they are still VERY early in development here and just showed something they were contractually obligated to show at the Xbox showcase.

Its still jarring to me because I think p4golden would hold up well. Granted like maybe to a young person it looks awful?

But mostly I'm irked because I'm kinda confused how P studio is set up.

Is it a fair assessment that with Studio Zero making Metaphor Refantazio there isnt enough talent at P Studio to make non remakes which is why we haven't heard anything about a P6?

the most recent P6 leaks I had seen also stated that the game was going to be announced either last year at The Game Awards or This Summer at Summer Games Fest, so I'm taking any leaks I hear about it with a truck full of salt

This is the 3rd Persona 4 just after we got the 4th Persona 3. So presumably when we do get Persona 6 there will be another Persona 5, a 4th Persona 4, and an expanded Persona 6 at the very least before Persona 7. Although personally my money is on a 3-game Persona 1 Remake. The entire first game is just the school.

Are the dancing games canon? 3, 4, and 5 each got an expanded release after launch. P3 & 4 had the Arena Max spinoff. 5 got Strikers and Tactica. And now 3 & 4 got their remasters. So that puts them even with the amount of P5 games now if my math is right. I'm not counting the P3 Portable/P4 Golden release on ps4/xbox otherwise you have to count the p4 golden port to PC that came out years prior.

I was just counting the remastered or expanded editions (i.e.; FES/Portable/The Golden) didn't even think about the spin-offs.

Yeah, if you count dancing, P5 has more spin offs. A dancing game + strikers and tactica.

P4 has dancing and Arenamax
P3 only has Arenamax

Strikers was a damn good game too. Only wish they could've more closely incorporated some stuff with Royal.
