Suppose that's one way to continue avoiding giving Makoto an english VA unless they announced the one for Persona Q and I just missed it. Can't say I'm sad that there's no dub, though. Just glad to get the movie stateside finally.

Since this is a general thread I was wondering if I could get some input.
1. How are the PSP ports of P1 and P2? I was thinking of grabbing them some time to give them a shot.
2. How is P3P compared to P3:FES? My PS2 bit the dust so I never got a chance to complete P3 but noticed the PSP version is available over PSN. Wondering if it would be worth grabbing or just getting a used PS2.
1. They would be the versions to grab. They made them an easier entry and tried to make them more menu friendly for current gamers but the games will still have that 'old school mean dungeon crawler rpg' feel to them. If you can wait for an ATLUS PSN sale (they run these pretty often) that would be the time to grab them.
2. P3P removes the on screen movement outside of dungeons and some of the cutscenes. It adds content including the ability to play as a female at the start (which adds another perspective, ATLUS stated once before that they wanted the female character to have a personality and thusly get closer to the team as a whole, which is why your team interacts more with you). You lose a little you get some back with that version. I like both.
A new project to be announced on May 2ndhttp://gematsu.com/2014/04/significa...ment-due-may-2Atlus will host a “Shadow Hour TV Persona Hour” Niconico live broadcast on May 2 at 11:30 p.m. Japan time.
The first half of the broadcast will include a preview of the June 7-due anime movie Persona 3 The Movie #2: Midsummer Knight’s Dream, as well as a digest of the previously released Persona 3 The Movie #1: Spring of Birth.
The second half of the broadcast will feature wonderful guests presenting the latest information on the series, with significant announcements such as a new Persona project scheduled.
Now, it’s entirely possible this project is not game-related at all. So keep your expectations in check.

Atlus USA drops a hint as to what the project might be - "Origami Rhino Oh Yo"http://www.siliconera.com/2014/05/02...upcoming-game/Those tricky wordsmiths at Atlus USA finished their work on Conception II and sent Siliconera a little teaser.
How about we try to solve this one as a group?
I was given the clue "Origami Rhino Oh Yo"
But, I can’t think of any games Atlus or even Atlus USA made about origami.
Now what could this be for…
New project will be revealed in 3 hours - http://live.nicovideo.jp/watch/lv176153249
I get the feeling that Atlus was so disappointed by how P4A turned out that they're rebooting it and actually shooting for quality.
Well, that's what I hope. They could always pull a FMA:B and focus on the stuff that wasn't told in P4A.
EDIT: Considering it's being done by a different studio, I'm hoping for the former.
It's kind of puzzling. The first adaptation is not even 3 years old, and received a full 26 episodes. Maybe they'll adjust the pacing and tackle the events of P4:Arena at the end?
I hope they add Marie and don't use the annoying gradient on everyone's faces

The next issue of Persona Magazine to be published on June 12th, 2014http://www.siliconera.com/2014/05/02...ublished-june/During Atlus’ “Dark Hour TV ~Persona Hour” live stream, they shared a glimpse of Persona 4 Golden: The Animation featuring Marie. They also revealed that the next issue of Persona Magazine will be published on June 12th, 2014.
The Persona Magazine was a monthly magazine published from 2011 to 2012, featuring all things Persona. Atlus revived the magazine for the special occasion of the Persona 5 reveal, and considering that there’s a few months to go before the next issue is published, hopefully it will contain some information on that game.
Persona 5 is slated for release in the fourth quarter of 2014 for PlayStation 3 in Japan. The game will be released in North America in 2015.
Persora –The Golden Best- album announced
http://www.siliconera.com/2014/05/19...angled-lyrics/Those of you who’ve been keeping up with Persona Stalker Club, a talk show hosted by voice actress Tomomi Isomura and freelance writer Mafia Kajita, might be familiar with their “soramimi” antics, where they talk about songs from Persona game and mangle up their lyrics. This concept is now being turned into an actual soundtrack release.
The whole thing started back on the first episode, when Isomura had a request where they’d listen to various Persona songs, and as we know, are all sung in English. This special session started out with what they sound like to Isomura in Japanese.
This segment was so popular among fans that it became an official part starting with the second episode. By the time of the third episode, vocalist Yumi Kawamura who actually sings the songs in Persona 3 and 4,shared her enthusiasm towards the skit, and actually became an official member of it.
Now that they’ve gotten the approval of Kawamura, the next step an official album, called Persora -The Golden Best- (yeah, that’s intentional, short for “Persoramimi”), which will feature the popular songs that have been part of the show thus far.
Some of the tracks include: Pursuing My True Self (Persona 4,) Wiping All Out (Persona 3 Portable,) Best Friends (Persona 4 Arena,) Time to Make History (Persona 4 Golden,) When the Moon’s Reaching Out Stars (Persona 3,) and more, for a total of 13 tracks.
The album will also feature a bunch of Isomura’s and other fan-made lyrics for the songs and the humorous illustrations that were shown in the program. Atlus tease that it might even include a few tracks from Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth.
Persora –The Golden Best- will be available on July 16, 2014 for 2,160 yen.
