$0.02* to $1.50-2.00, so that's upwards of a 10,000% increase.
It's definitely possible for Sia to hit that kind of price. If we take the total current market capitalization of Ripple at ~$92 billion and apply it to Sia, Ripples current price of $2.35 would be equivalent to Sia hitting $2.90. Ripple's surge is mostly on the proposed adoption of major banks, and if Sia had a similar partnership for storage it could certainly generate a similar amount of hype further down the road.
As far as it being realistic, I don't think so in the short-term. I could see Sia hitting 0.10 to 0.5 max within the next year, which is still a massive return, but not so sure about going above $1 in <5 years. The entire cloud storage market isn't even worth $100 billion yet, though it's growing at an exponential rate and is projected to pass $100 billion by 2020. Comparing a cryptocurrency's market capitalization with the revenue of an industry is a bit apples & oranges though, so who knows how it'll really shake out.
Storj and Filecoin are it's main competitors, yes.
Filecoin doesn't have a working product yet and is the latest to the game, with nothing other than the ICO sale... so we'll ignore that one.
Storj is a solid competitor, with a more use-friendly and simple execution (currently). But, the underlying architecture is not as well-designed, the dev team is weaker and less transparent, the devs hold the majority of all coins produced (massive no-no, this is what suppressed Ripple for so long), and more... Rather than paraphrase, I'll refer to this guy's experience and write-up:
