I have a 1070, 970, and a 270x 4gb that I can use. If I'm understanding these calculators, I'd essentially lose $43 a day using the 1070.

Idk how you even use that much power. Losing $43/day is equal to 313 hours of use @ $0.1371/kWh. Something must be off.

That sounds a bit high unless your electricity is expensive. The 1070 should be around 140 watts per card and you have to tweak it with software usually to lower the power down to 60-70% which further reduces the wattage. That should be 3.3 kWh/day per card base not including the base wattage of your system (CPU, Mobo, Solid State Drive, Fans, etc).

I just googled my areas kwh so who knows. The 1070 is in my main rig which has four drives, 9 fans, and a 1700x. It's for list on Amazon right now as the cheapest at $829.99. I'll gladly sell that and buy a 1080.

you are probably putting the cost per kwh in as a whole number instead of decimal.

11c an hour is .11 not 11

I don't have the balls to do ebay for that kind of money. Amazon sure. Or local money. Not to get off topic but I'm looking at the 32" Philips 2560x1440 IPS Freesync that's $300. Or the LG 4K 32" flicker free Freesync but it's $380 and GTG. In no rush because even at $325 no one has inquired about my 40" 4K.

Jfc 20cents/kwh? Florida gets shit on a lot but at 11.5cents/kWh I'll take the shenanigans for cheap A.C. and mining lol.

I use nemo's miner with miningpoolhub... easy to set up and I just run it whenever I'm not playing games on it.
