Bandai Namco took some heat earlier this year when they released Tales of Zestiria. fans of the series weren’t too happy to find out that one of the game’s main heroines didn’t have as extensive a role as Namco had advertised, and that she was instead reserved to be released later as a DLC add-on.



To make matters worse, Bandai Namco released the DLC story that centered around Alisha for 1,300 yen , shortly after the game released, which lent credence to the assumption that Bandai Namco had planned to remove her from the game for add-on content all along. At the time, Tales series producer Hideo Baba defended the decision, claiming that Namco had never explicitly stated that Alisha, the character in question, was going to be one of Tales of Zestiria’s main protagonists, even though the company actually had referred to her as the heroine and then removed references to this fact. More recently, however, Baba directed an apology at Tales fans.



During a talk show featuring anime studio ufotable to talk about the Tales of Zestiria anime, Baba felt the need to get something off his chest before proceeding with the event.



“It’s about the Tales of series, but I want to deeply apologize for making you all worry,” Baba said to the fans in attendance. “And I’d like to talk about it again sometime.”

If they are sorry to the tales fans then including the DLC with the PS4 port would be the a good idea, it'd be better if it was also a enhanced port with extra content and adjustments but that's not likely since this was released this year.

Sorry for the bump since no news info But I wanna ask people's opinion, how much chance do you guys think we could get a port of the PS3 Tales to the PS4 (Graces F Xillia 1 + 2) I would say Vesperia but I'm guessing Namco beeing too lazy again

Yes the 360 version lacks Flynn (and Patty) and I would buy the International version in a heartbeat if it came out in North America, but the 360 version is still an excellent representation of the game and is easily obtainable.

Just gotta realize that for some people its not worth it.
First off, I'd have to obtain a 360 which isn't even prohibitive due to cost but due to space. I barely want to keep my PS3 around (though there's a ton of good games for it and plenty of cross gen releases still coming and its resting on top of my PS4). To buy a 360 right now seems silly, especially when its just to play a single game. With all the inconvenience already then you add the small annoyance of the fact that I would actually have to buy it and its just a totally unattractive option. That's just my personal situation but I can see why some folks would want the (superior) port. Unfortunately, though, that ship has sailed.
