Again, not the point. They were specifically talking about the raw diet and what I believe Brill's point is, is that it defeats the purpose of claiming a raw diet if you feed them expiring and frozen foods.

Edit: No the dog is not going to die or even notice the meat is way past the expiration date, hell, I've seen plenty raw fed healthy dogs, bury some meat and consume it days later.

The reason I was thinking of doing the raw diet is because it is what a dog shoukd naturally eat and what they use to eat in the wild. It is also supposed to give the dog a better quality of living... dogs stomach are designed to scavenge and eat what they can. Expire dates are for humans... Dog can raw shit weeks old I don't see how that would matter to a dog. Their stomachs can handle it and 1 day old meat and 2 week old meat have the same nutritional value do they not? Of course I'm just thinking logically I have no scientific data to back up though so could be wrong
