I haven't eaten at McDonalds in years (you wouldn't believe how many) so I don't know what the deal is with the Szechuan sause. Just to be clear.. people this weekend waited in line 5+ hours for a packet of sause? Like a ketchup packet? This stuff must be made by the hands of the Elves of Rivendell.
It's a shitty version of teriyaki that McD's sold for a few months 19 years ago. I'd imagine damn near everyone involved in this nonsense has never even tasted it, if they were even alive. There's a reason it was never sold again until a throwaway joke on a cartoon show got latched on to by a bunch of neckbeards.
i'll never respect any of you again
I bet Trekkies and Star Wars nerds have done some weird shit too

Depending on the fandom/followers, you'd be surprised at what people will stand in line for. I've seen people stand in line overnight for a chance at an exclusive Lego Minifig at Comic Con. And don't get me started on the Funko POP! people...I've witnessed a crowd trample a small child and push a lady over in her wheelchair just to get to an exclusive POP that they were giving away. And let's be honest, most of these people are simply there to flip the items.
i know there's a couple Chapo fans in here, this week's episode has Patton Oswalt and was almost entirely about the sauce incident. Matt seems to believe that capitalism's inability to deliver cartoon sauce will be the final failure that triggers some kind of people's revolution, lol.
Why has the president not denounced Rick and Morty fans as terrorists yet?
