"What, cover me in gasoline and spiders ? Fine yeah I'm in."
"...wasn't my first pitch but hey, I'm not gonna waste this opportunity"
Just the animated look on morty's face and his lines afterward I think made the entire episode !
Holy shit, this episode was great.
That episode was pretty weak. Both plots weren't funny IMO.
I think as a stand alone episode it wasn't terrible. The app plot was the weaker of the two for sure but I don't think it was bad since it was more a commentary and can only do so much with it. The toilet plot was great since it was exposing more of Rick to himself that he didn't want to confront, it seems we are seeing him actually grow as a person since he didn't just end up killing the guy for using it once. He was giving him chance after chance, and hell he didn't rig it to kill the guy for the last time.
The toilet plot was the shit.
Another sad Rick ending![]()
Yeah.. at first I chuckled at the very end then I was like, "Awwwww"
Spoiler: show
I don’t know. The other sad rick endings always felt genuine. The Unity episode especially.
This one came off pretty contrived imo.
Eh, I think it hits pretty deep at the fact that Rick doesn't really have any friends. Partly because he's an asshole, partly because he's always the smartest guy in the room. I think it didn't get as much focus as the unity thing and also it had a stranger premise (fighting over the toilet) but it clearly got to him.
